Tostones Tuesday may just unseat Taco Tuesday for me.The vegetarian version of the tostones nachos at Tostones Inc. had me practically licking the plate. Fresh, delicious, and filled with all the avocado I desired! The bed of tostones stay nice and crispy under the flavorful toppings, so every bite is perfection. And the staff couldn't have been more pleasant! A+ experience.

Tostones and fried yucca have become my most favorite sides ever since moving to Tampa, so I was extremely excited to try tostones at the aptly-named Tostones Inc!I got the tostones nachos with latin (shredded) pork. The portion size is super generous here, especially considering this was only $10, it was basically my whole lunch. The tostones themselves are honestly the best I've ever had, they're surprisingly rich in flavor and are also thinner and crispier than most other places I've been to. The pico de gallo and super green guac tasted super fresh as well! My only complaint is I wish there was a bit more sauce-- while the pork was great, it was just a tad dry.I definitely wanna try their mofongo and other toston dishes, so I'll be back soon!

I've been patronizing this restaurant for the past five years since I moved to Tampa . It was very convenient and good because I live right across the street, but over the past couple of years this place has really went down as far as food goes . I ordered The chicken has been very dry, overcooked and just not up to their normal standards. I really hate this because I always recommend family and friends when they come to Tampa and stay with me... I won't be doing that anymore.. hopefully they can get things back up to par.

Déjame decirles que si quieren comida hispana rica, hermosa y económica. No lo piensen dos veces. Let me tell ya. A most delightful place. The food was tasty and well prepared under 10 min wait. Fun for family and those who don't want to eat a lot )unlike my Puerto Rican self jajaja) ñ. You will NOT regret coming here. This place is blessed No pics cause I couldn't stop eating it. I will come back hungry for more.

Well, Tostones Inc is your place.Tostones Inc. sculpts green plantains into literal cups for their tostones rellenos dish.Thier fried plantain cups are filled with the meat of your choice: Latin pork, BBQ pork baked chicken, chicken salad, chicken honey siraracha, beef picadillo, avocado salad or zesty shrimp salad. Thier chicken and shrimp tostones are so unique in thier taste. Thier Jibarito Sandwich is a definite hit. Two green plantains that are fried and smashed into buns to hold a generous portion of Latin pork. It's the kind of irresistible snack for either Lunch or Dinner.

This was my favorite restaurant in Tampa, seems like the new owner wanted to improve the recipes but not the case. What happened to the toasty carne frita? The big and very crispy tostones? Now its just soaked pieces of pork with soft tostones. If this recipe doesn't change consider weekly customers to not come back anymore. Really hope y'all read this so I can do a new review saying how much I love this place as always

This place and the other one fell off, when the original order started it was Amazing food, now it's just horrible.This is not the first time I have a issue with my food, I'm sick and tired of spending my money here never again will I go back.This time the tostones was not verde " green " they was Maduro " sweet " And in top of that they was burn over cookedThe chicken forget about it you will never get good chicken with meat in it always bones 70% is all boneThe juice taste horrible. Idk if is the water they use or the ice but it taste nasty. Completely fell off..Bad business

Delicious, cheap food.One tostones nachos plate will feed you for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'm serious, I skipped breakfast, ate here with a friend for lunch and I have half of it saved for dinner. It's been two hours and I still feel stuffed. I think it is a combination of size and the fact that it's heavy food, this isn't diet stuff. The tostones are clearly cooked in oil. It's not super greasy, but I felt like it weighed me down a bit by the end. That's the main reason I took some home. However, they were delicious. Here's the breakdown of the food.BEEF EMPANADA - the outer casing was light and crispy, I loved it. The beef was very good too. It's huge so you can definitely share it between two people, which is what we did.TOSTONES NACHOS - You can choose two toppings, so I went with avocado and shrimp salad. Both have a lot of tomatoes so next time I'd switch one of them for a meat. It's big and is definitely a good choice if you're hungry. The sauces are where it's at. There's a ketchup/mayo dip and a garlic one. Both are amazing and I would just eat the dip and tostones as a great snack.The service is great. Everyone is super friendly.They don't have free water, only water bottles, just as an fyi. They said it's because they don't have a filter for water. This place is fantastic. It was pretty empty on Friday at lunch. If you're in the area, I'd highly suggest it!

I ordered Tostones tacos paid extra for "deluxe"Gave me stale tostones in a platter that looked like they tossed all the ingredients rushed, my fiancés food looked rather disgusting than appetizing. The salchipapas were good and gave a appropriate amount but I had to share my food with my fiancé since hers was not well made so I don't think I will be back or recommend to family and friends.

Small quiet place on the strip of memorial highway. The Food was amazing! We had the acapuras, the nachos with shrimp, the tostones rellanos and the fried chicken. Food was amazing!!!! I will definitely come back.
