We were here on a Monday during happy hour and got some excellent deals. All starters were 25% off, well drinks were $5, wine was $2 off each glass. My husband was ordering double rum and Diet Coke for $6.50 each. I found another deal through an app called inKind. As part of a black Friday deal, I was able to purchase $140 of credits for $100. The app also had a deal that your first purchase of over $50 would receive a $25 discount. You can't pay the tip through the credits, but you have a credit card on file in the app that tips are charged to We were struggling to get $50 of food/drinks with the specials the restaurant had running. When the bill comes you open the inKind app and enter the check number the server can give you. Apparently it's paid through the app using Toast. Everything worked great. The restaurant had multiple TVs playing sports and a bar area. The table we sat at didn't have comfortable chairs but we weren't planning to stay long. If you plan to stay for an entire game, look for more comfortable chairs or maybe sit at the bar. The bathroom was clean but small. They likely get lines when it's busy. This is an easy walk from the Tampa Riverwalk. Our server was fast and checked on us a few times. There was not that many people there.

Top Shelf is a sports lounge that doesn't show any actual sports on its many televisions. Rather, it shows muted programs of men in suits discussing sports. It's a big planet. Somewhere, someone is always playing something. Nothing happening in North America? Show me a bike race in Abu Dhabi or a cricket match in Pakistan. Show me sports!The restaurant itself feels oddly sterile. It's like a corporate consultant's idea of a sports bar, as opposed to an actual sports bar.Two bright spots: the menu and the service. I had a salad with an added protein. The salad was both enormous and delicious. My server was pleasant and attentive.I know we're used to grade inflation here on Yelp, but look: this isn't a one-star review. I didn't particularly care for this restaurant, but I wouldn't throw a fit if a coworker insisted on going there. Top Shelf may very well be your kind of place. If so, more power to you!

This is a nice sports lounge in downtown, priced accordingly.We had reservations via OpenTable, but we did not need them. The place was about half full, which was nice, because it wasn't too loud.Top Shelf is located in downtown Tampa. There's plenty of street parking nearby, assuming there isn't a huge event happening downtown.They usually have drink specials, and they have a kids menu, so it was a fun option for my family. My husband was able to get a double Corazon silver for $6.50, and my daughter loved her mac and cheese.I found the food to be too salty. Good if you're drinking a ton of beer, but not great if you aren't. We started with their fancy chips (gorgonzola, tomatoes, balsalmic), and then I had the Havana bowl. The Havana bowl was a huge portion, and the pork was tender. Unfortunately, the dish was drowned in sauces, and they were all too salty. I also had a green drink, which was quite tasty.Service was pretty good, and the setting was comfortable and very clean. They have live music outside on Fridays, but we sat inside and enjoyed the 90s music instead.

I ate my Cuban sandwich so fast I could not show you but hands down it was freaking delicious and the drinks are right on time. Great place to try when you're downtown the food is really great. I will be back to add pictures so you can see but I stillRate them at sold 5 stars as the food comes out hot and fresh fries are omg so good seasoned just right. Customer service is great also.

Elite mozzarella wedges and damn good grilled buffalo wings. Service was fine. Prices a little steep. Plenty of TVs to catch the game. Cocktails aren't their specialty, but the pours and beer options are solid. Good sports bar option when in the area. 3.9 stars.

This was a great find! Nice place to sit down and eat or have a drink, with a lot of TV screens throughout. So many great menu options made it hard to choose. Everyone else in my group ordered something different and everything looked amazing!! I got the Havana Bowl and it did not disappoint - absolutely delicious!! Service was fantastic too, we had a pretty big party and everything went smoothly. It took a little bit for the food to come out but not an unreasonable amount of time for what you get. Would definitely go back!

This place is near my office & it's definitely an office fave for us! Awesome service, Plenty of space, great food menu, good beer. What more can we ask for!My favorite item from the menu that I get every time is the Top Shelf Chips. Seriously so addicting, I'd go there just for those chips! The Havana Bowl is also a favorite of mine. Huge & flavorful I always have leftovers! They also have brunch on the weekends! It's easy to see why Top Shelf is a downtown favorite! There's something for everyone!

I came on a Saturday with a friend for brunch. They were extremely busy and we were lucky to grab the last available table for a party of two. The waitress was very friendly and attentive.We both had mimosas which were pretty good. My friend had the quesadilla and she said it was very tasty. I had the Cuban toast, and although the overall flavor was good, the toast, ideally would have been cooked a little longer because it did get soggy from the soft inside. The bacon that came with it was delicious!I would be curious to return again, but in the evening to see how the vibes may be different and try a different menu item.
