Hannah said she was new but she was far from a new server, she may have been just new here. She was excellent!My wife has come here a bunch but this was my first time. My house salad and bread appetizer were excellent. I ordered the Nello's Carbonara and it was great. My family enjoyed the veal piccata and Alfredo. Heard great things about the pizza. This really is a hidden gem. It's Friday night so we enjoyed the atmosphere being a little crowded and exciting.

The service was excellent and the food delicious at a reasonable price, especially since the portions were large. We had the spicy shrimp appetizer, veal saltimbocca, and chicken piccata, all scrumptious.

Really liked this place suggested to me by friends. Why? Because they make a great gluten free pie and other stuff I don't get to eat a lot. There were gf pasta options but with the smells in play this is where I broke my blasted pizza fast. Sure glad I did it was worth it. I even took some home for later after giving it my best shot! This place is very Italian, so they had great wine too. Pricey because its in a tourist area, but their bruschetta bread looked legit too! Would def chill here again.

We're staying with our Aunt and Uncle for a month here in Tierra Verde and wanted to try this place. My husband and I are foodies and love supporting local businesses. Dinner for four included a large pizza, which was HUGE, Greek salad - also huge, and a nice bottle of Chianti. Everything was delicious and perfectly made. The icing on the cake was our server, Peter. He was attentive and funny and we really enjoyed every minute we spent there. This place is a gem!

Visiting our daughter in St Petersburg over Easter weekend. She took us to Tony & Nello's in Tierra Verde. Walking in, the smells were so darn fabulous, we knew the flavors were going to be spot on!! Not a huge restaurant but plenty of space to enjoy yourselves. Nicely decorated with plenty of that Italian feel. Not quite busy yet, so we sat at the bar. Johnny was our Bartender .... Very friendly guy. Asked what we wanted to drink, we weren't sure because we had JUST sat down and looking over the menu. Very, very attentive. Plus he was answering the phones & getting to-go orders lined up. He worked like a Swiss watch. By the time we left, the place quite full of guests and orders were flying out the door. We figured out what we wanted. Pizza !! Found out EVERYTHING was in large portions. We ordered a tossed salad, ($14.95) which was plenty enough to feed 4, easily. I ordered a glass of wine...nice pour by the way, Johnny. Thank you. They delivered some hot bread as well. Delicious !! Then the large pizza arrived, for the three of us..... 1/2 meal lovers & 1/2 Tony's Special. OMG..... it was HUGE !! Loaded with sausage, pepperoni, peppers & black olives. It was certainly full of flavor. Guess we got the NY style because it was very, very thin. Tasty but we would have preferred it with a thicker "chew" on the crust. If they offer a thicker crust... we missed it. We each ate one slice, took the rest of it home and had it for breakfast the next day !! Just as tasty ! Yes, highly recommended. We would go back in a heartbeat !!!

My dish was good and a huge portion. Bread was delicious and everyone in our party enjoyed our meals.I only rated four stars because A) I drove 30 minutes to get here because I craving lasagna. Got there at 6pm and they took my order only to return 15 minutes later to tell me they were out of lasagna. I understand the issues with making lasagna, but it's only 6pm, your open until 9pm and you run out. Makes little sense to me and I never got to try their lasagna. B) The meals state that bread is included, we were a party of 8 and were only given enough bread that we each got a very tiny slice. I later asked for more and the waitress seemed shocked that I was asking. We did get more and it was delicious.

Very good, we made a large pickup order, and the food was great. We did the eggplant rollatini. In my opinion, the sauce was a bit sweet, which is typically a con for me, but it worked here. Very good. Now a word of caution food can get a touch charred, but I wouldn't call it burnt. Also had some wings, they were big and fried well before saucing. The pizza looks good too, but I did not try. The atmosphere is pretty good, a family italian restaurant. It was a little small. We are excited to go back.

Always a wow!wow!wow! for us! Great local spot with fantastic food. Give them a try and definitely start with the bruschetta. Tonight we had the gnocchi and chicken Marsala which was incredible.

This is easily the best Italian food in all of greater Tampa Bay. Also this might be the best bread and butter I've ever had...Wow, just wow!!!

Such a pleasant evening! Birthday dinner with friends. Our server Bernadette was super-efficient and friendly! Helped us to make decisions on what to order and was very attentive. Adult beverages beer and wine only. Food was delicious - my dish, veal piccata, was out of this world. An easy-going atmosphere encouraged us to stay for dessert. Tiramisu was airy light and so flavorful! Cheesecake was a hit too. You should go there!
