Tonbo

Once again not disappointed . Jay aka Maui did a fantastic job! Celebrating hubby's birthday, we enjoyed dinner with family. Nothing can be more fun than hibachi with the entertainment than great food!

We are always looking for a new place to take our Italian family. At 101, 94, and 91, they can be very selective. They enjoyed the food, the service AND the show! So we will be back. The family enjoyed the shrimp, and noodles. We had chicken and steak with rice. Everything was well cooked and our cook was very entertaining and proficient. The place is comfortable and clean. We sat at the hibachi, but the rest of the seating areas looked nice. We will be back!!

So, I came back to try the hibachi.... Which was not very good. I didn't even take a picture. The scallops and shrimp were good, but the veggies and rice lacked flavor. There was also only one hibachi chef so we had to wait quite awhile. However, the sushi is still amazing! I had the lollipop roll as an appetizer and as usual the fish was fresh and delicious. So, I think Tonbo is great for sushi, but I won't have hibachi again. Also important to note on this visit, the bathroom was not very clean and one toilet was completely clogged. Not what you want to see walking in the bathroom.

Let me tell you, Tonbo is the place to be, The food is absolutely bang'nThe service is ALWAYS quick and friendly And the ambiance is very authentic down to the very last detail.Overall I'd eat here everyday here if I could

First time visiting this spot. We had a party of 4. It wasn't overly busy at 5:30 pm on a Saturday, but we we're definitely an inconvenience for our waitress. Had to ask for everything twice...when she magically reappeared. We ordered a spicy tuna roll and standard tuna roll. Both were great. The fish was fresh and wasabi nasal passage opening strength. Our table chef Maui was great! I'm addition to being skilled at cooking on the large flattop, he was hilarious. Another group at our table had their young daughter with them. Her reactions to Maui's cooking antics were priceless. We all enjoyed our selections. A little confusion at the end when scallops one us ordered were given to the wrong person in our party was easily fixed. Would have been a bigger deal had they gone to the other group at the table, lol. We'll probably be back.

We ordered take out habachi and sushi. Stayed for a wine and beer while we waited. The bartender was super unfriendly - maybe the person had a bad day so we gave the benifit of the doubt. When we politely asked about the beer and wine the place offered the individual scoffed - we paid it no mind- again maybe it was a bad day for that person. However, when we asked for a second drink he was rushing us out saying that our food should already be done. We were in absolutely no rush after a long day, the place wasn't busy so again we paid the rushing no mind. We cashed out when he brought our order over - it really felt like this person had better things to do. Long story short the food was so so. The sushi rice had no taste and was soggy. We ended up getting burgers if that tells you anything about the quality for at least that night.

First time here had a great experience, Selena was our server and she was awesome. Food was great as well. Highly recommend if you're in the area to try this place out.

I will never go to this place again there are people are incompetent I had to bag my own food they told me to be there at 12:15 I'm still here at 12:45 over 25 minutes I'm still waiting for my food they messed up my order granted it was a big order but you would think they would pay more attention with the big order because with a big order comes a big Bill got my food wrong got my food cold very rude manager will never go here again I do not recommend this place there are other better places to go

Quick service, great prices, amazing food! We can't wait to return! Sashimi platter is the best!

We're new to the area and we're in the area so we decided to stop at Tonbo for sushi but ended up ordering the teppanyaki dinner date for two. The food did not disappoint. Good amount for each of us and excellent taste. We will be back again.
