I'm in town in a hotel and decided about an hour before they closed that I wanted a philly steak sandwich. I called and asked if they could still deliver with it being late, it was absolutely no problem for them at all. They were happy to do it. Well then the food got there about 10 minutes before they told me it would. My sandwich was AMAZING!! It was fresh and hot like I ordered it and ate it there. The fries were HUGE! They were seasoned with salt and pepper and were also hot and fresh too! I can't wait for tomorrow night, I know where I'm eating already!!

I used to eat at Tomato Joes often when they were in their old location, but have only gone to the new location twice.This time... I decided to order a stromboli, instead of my usual calzone. Calzone have a mix of mozzarella and ricotta cheese, and no sauce (although sauce is usually provided on the side for dipping). As well as whatever other ingredients are ordered.Strombolis have only mozzarella cheese, and they have sauce applied internally, as well as whatever ingredients are ordered.Per Bon Appetit https://www.bonappetit.com/story/difference-between-a-calzone-and-a-stromboli#:~:text=Calzones%20use%20ricotta%20cheese%2C%20and,that%20almost%20always%20incorporates%20ricotta..I ordered a Stromboli, but got a Calzone. No sauce inside, but there was ricotta cheese inside, (sauce was on the side.)It was delicious... it was nicely done. But it was not what I was expecting. The guy who made it said it was the first time he had ever made a stromboli... which is odd, as it is on the menu. Not big differences... but not what I was expecting.I am wondering yet again, if Tomato Joe's changed owners when they moved. Don't know. I know where to go for a really good Calzone.... here. But still looking for a place with a good stromboli...

I would like to know who tomato Joe is and personally thank him for this restaurant/business! I have been here a handful of times since moving to Tampa in October and every time, the anticipation of having my pizza cravings satisfied nearly kills me! :) I've tried the pizza and the chicken wings as well and let me tell you... this might be tmi and I don't care lol... but I was literally moaning while eating the Parmesan garlic wings! The pizza is just as delicious as the wings btw. I had 2 slices of pepperoni and the size btw is pretty big, especially for the reasonable price! I have yet to find a place where I love wings that much though! This was definitely a first! Feel free to message me if you're reading this and know of a place! Lol Clearly, my experience at Tomato Joes has been fantastic every single time and I am grateful to have found this pizza gem spot! It is in a shopping center next to a Publix market and other businesses. Although there is ample parking, it is always crowded! Just fyi... if you park far and have to walk, I promise you it will be worth the walk ;-)

Was looking for a delicious Stromboli packed with toppings so we decided to try tomato joes. We ordered a Stromboli, baked ziti and a steak sub. The Stromboli and sub did not disappoint. They were delicious! But the baked ziti was absolutely flavorless and tasted like it was microwaved. There was no seasoning whatsoever so ever. Plain, plain, plain. The cheese just looked melted in a microwave and not baked in the oven. Won't order that again

This is a real fine in the neighborhood! Visited after returning from Sicily, the pie crust is homemade,thin and flakey just the way I like it. So when youneed a pizza fix, sold by slice.
