Tiny Tap Tavern

What a great watering hole! Feels like you're stepping back in 1980. The scent reminds me of a Best Western in a good way. Definitely stop in on your next trip to Tampa.

I love this place. Have been here 3 times so far and this is my first review of it. As you can imagine, it is "tiny"but that doesn't mean you can't fit a lot of people inside. This place gets packed and for good reason! It's a great little tavern that serves beer and wine. It's great for people watching, playing pool, listening to a good mix of music, and of course, having a few drinks! Service has been incredible the times I've been and it's always a lively atmosphere. I certainly don't come here for the wide variety of drinks or for food so if that's what you're looking for, you won't find it here. But if you're looking for a laid back establishment with great people, to make a new friend, and drink some cheap beer, this is the place for you.

They only serve beer and wine. They ah e some game tables and a Julie box that when you put money in it they make sure ur songs don't play idk how but they would go on a app and change the music and not let the music I spent money to play.....

I went to Tiny Tap with some friends and it was a fun dive bar! They even had free BBQ while we were there. It is a smaller bar so there isn't a lot of seating and can get crowded fast. The prices were decent too!

The dive bar of dive bars in Tampa. This has been a bar for almost 70 years and is one of the oldest continuously operated bars still running in Tampa. This is a Tampa hallmark and must-see if you are into dive bars. You might want to avoid the men's bathroom, but that's part of what gives it character. The pool tables haven't moved in decades as evidenced by the worn linoleum. And... they finally take credit cards!!!! So come get a PBR tall boy and feel like a local!

The "Tiny Tap Tavern" is a "Run-A-Way Bill" Favorite bar.A small bar with a local customer base, is the oldest bar in Tampa, Florida, & has been serving up smiles since 1934. The floor shows the wear of ages & makes me smiles knowing people have pARTy'd here before me.Plenty of bar flair to add to the atmosphere. Pool tables, darts & foosball available for entertainment.My bartender "Michelle" served a smile with every beer.By the way the "Tiny Tap Tavern" is ONLY a beer bar ... serving 12oz, 20oz & 24oz drafts, as well as tall boy PBR's and a variety of other beers in bottles & cans.. The "Tiny Tap Tavern" is a smoking bar. I am not a smoker myself, but from experience, smokers have always proven to be more fun than non-smokers - better stories & laugh more.FREE off-street parking is a plus.Dice playing is popular, and I was taught "6-5-4", "Tally-Ho" & "3's".Customers "Macho", "Kyle", "Rick" & "Diana" made me feel at home in their village.The "Tiny Tap Tavern" is my personal "must-stop" bar when in Tampa - not sterile or touristy like many bars in the area."Run-A-Way Bill" was here! 11.11.19

I know a number of super fans dig the dollar, room temp Bud Lights and the ne'er-change atmosphere of an archaic (if not absolutely true to form) dive bar like Tiny Tap.But you are playing lung roulette if you happen in on a night where everybody and their mother is ripping Marlboro unfiltereds while commenting on Olympic curling. See, smoking is still fine here, and when the space is Tiny, you're in the cloud.That was this night. Cheap pool, cheap drinks, and if you're accustomed to smoke-free bars, a cheap SHS headache.

The bartender clearly shouldn't work here if she can't tell what a real or fake ID is. Showed up last night and tried to take my friends REAL ID and almost had to call police to get it back. The only good thing about this place is the cool food truck guy outside. Also, place needs to be checked by health department it's dirty

Great local bar hidden from the general public. Great prices and the perfect dive bar atmosphere. The service was great and the pool tables were level!
