Tienda Mexicana y Restaurant El Rincón Oaxaqueño

This place is a hidden gem and a welcomed addition to Gibsonton. This building was an appliance store for awhile, and prior, it was a bar. Recently, it turned into a Mexican Grocery Store. The store has baked goods, groceries, meat, tortillas, and a food truck in the back.The food is great: tacos, sopes, huaraches, gorditas, and more. They have pollo, barbacoa, asada, lengua, chorizo, and al pastor. Everything is fresh and tasty. The gorditas are made from scratch and a highlight of the menu. They also have horchata, jamaica, and pina which are all great! Everyone is really friendly. The service is quick. The truck is in the back of the store under a covered canopy, so you can sit outside but have shade and privacy. There are a few indoor tables also. The prices are phenomenal, which is a welcomed change for the rising cost of everything. We have been here a handful of times now and have plans to keep going back.

Awesome place for tacos. Had the lengua (tongue) best ever tried. Great hibiscus (agua de Jamaica) served in a grande ceramic mug. Went twice just for that. Would recommend going back. They have inside tables with air conditioning and outdoor tables. Place is very clean.

The food quality, size, price ambience and customer service are superb, the store has many authentic Mexican products. I am so glad that I found this place in yelp.
