Thinh An Kitchen & Tofu

We have a crave for Vietnamese cuisine while in Tampa! "Have you been to Thinh An?". "No, but my Tampa Yelp friends highly recommended this place!" Off we go W Waters Ave." The temperature is still high, so we skip the outdoor table and seated inside with nice cool air-conditioned environment. The ambiance is simple, you have your hot sauce and other condiments on the table. A Vietnamese kitchen with pho. Banh mi. bakery, bubble Tea, desert and Tofu. They served fried Tofu and Hot and Cold Tofu. In the early morning, hot or warm Tofu are scoop up in a bowl served with honey. This is one of favorite street food in many Asia countries. We got in too late and missed the hot/warm Tofu. We order two phos (Pho Tai and Bun MQC) and two vermicelli bun. The phos were well prepared. I have Bun MQC, a vermicelli noodle soup with spare ribs, mushroom meatballs and Vietnamese ham. The scallion, onion, cilantro, bean sprouts, basil, lime and jalapeno made this a wonderful meal! The Pho Tai has that wonderful aroma that make you come back for more!The staff is super friendly and very helpful. We picked up several croissants and sesame balls for snack later. Other members packed four bags of take out orders including cold Tofu, Banh mi sandwiches, croissants, and other baked goods. They were all good! The price is reasonable and if you want Vietnamese food in Tampa, Thinh An is the place to go!

Decided to check out this pho place out of 20+ pho locations out there in Tampa. Long story short, I never had to wait this long to get pho in my life. It was understandable as they seemed short-staffed and only 2 servers were managing 20+ tables.The taste did not disappoint though. Solid broth with good portion. If you don't mind waiting for a bit, I think this is a good pho restaurant to try

This is my favorite Vietnamese restaurant. They have ample seating options and are good for large groups. The servers are friendly and attentive. The food is spectacular. You can't go wrong with any of their dishes. This time I got the Krab Rangoon to start and the Grilled Chicken & Chicken Eggroll Vermicelli. Both were amazingly fresh and the flavor was fantastic. I can't wait to come back again soon.

Thinh An's is always Consistent, delicious and with fast amazing service. Highly recommend any of the Fried Rice and the Ramen Bowls. My wife also loves the Vietnamese Pancake. We will drive from Lakeland to enjoy a meal.

Comfort authentic Vietnamese food! From the pho to Che, you cannot go wrong with your order. Everything is delish! The service is so friendly. The food comes out piping hot & fresh. Very clean & efficient table service. My GOTO spot for the best Vietnamese food in the Tampa area!

Been back 2x. Food still not as great as previous owners, but still good, service has gone completely downhill.

Disclaimer: I did not sit down and eat here, I just went to the little side marketplaceI've been here several years ago and had a great experience. Back then, the owner was out front greeting people and everyone that worked there was friendly. There must have been a change in ownership since I was last here, because the service standard has very much changed. The girls at the cash register were incredibly rude and slow on top of their sour attitude. The snacks were okay. The croissants were flaky and baked well, but I wished the almond croissants had more filling. The tofu pudding / Vietnamese Silken Tofu in Ginger Syrup Dessert (Tau Hu Nuoc Duong) was NOT good. For a restaurant that has "tofu" in the name, it was a serious disappointment.I will not be back.

First time dining in (last time I got delivery) and the pho was exactly what I needed! It's also massive! I think it's cool they have a little grab and go area too. This is definitely a go-to for good pho and just solid Vietnamese food. The service was quick too!

AMAZING! The food is always stellar, the service is always friendly, the speed is fast fast fast, and the vibes are just a perfect warming location. Cute spot to hit up if you are in the mood for pho!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We were here two weeks ago on Sunday, and we still haven't recovered from the shock of how awful the experience was, so here I am. The service was beyond unacceptable. Our waitress ignored us for OVER AN HOUR!!! No drink refills, no updates on our food, nothing.But the worst part? While we were almost finish our foods, in the very end, the waitress finally suddenly stopped to check up, but in mid-sentence, still facing our table, she loudly greeted other customers, right in front of us! Though there were other staff members already handling it? It was the most unprofessional and uncomfortable experience we've ever had at a restaurant. We could actually see HER SPIT landing on our plates. Absolutely disgusting. We completely lost our appetite knowing our food had been contaminated right in front of us.We still can't believe how bad this was. Slow service, rude staff, and zero respect for hygiene. Save your money and go somewhere that actually values its customers. Never coming back!
