The Wexford Irish Pub & Grille

Super casual spot for a good, cheap breakfast. I would say everything was good for the price. It's about on par with diner food, but sometimes that's exactly what you need. Everything I tried was flavorful and well seasoned. I was pretty surprised at how good the food was for a low price.The service was great. Everyone was friendly, and it was a great atmosphere overall. I definitely want to come back and try more things on the menu, especially that French toast sandwich!

Local pub vibes! We ate here for breakfast and it was pretty empty for a Sunday just a few groups. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Everyone in our group enjoyed their meals. Good portion sizes and I'm sure my parents will return since they are locals. I would like to come at night to see the ambiance change. Based on our experience I recommend trying them for breakfast.

This place is nicely tucked away in a small plaza on Bearss Ave next to the Chick-Fil-A. The ambiance is a little dark for my liking but the staff and patrons were friendly, attentive, and the food tasted great!

Maybe go to listen to a live band, drink bottled beer. The lack of cleainess of this bar scares me what can't I see.

Loved everything about our first visit! Loved the selection of drinks, the food, the atmosphere, there service... and absolutely blown away by the deserts! Definitely will be going back!

Went to hear the band & eat dinner Sunday night. Paid a $40 cover charge for 4 of us & spent over $150 on food & drinks. We would of left but we were hungry. Food was cold & when we went in to get more drinks the bartender was it looked like flirting with the beer distributor guy. It took us 20 min to get more drinks. Not impressed.

Great pub atmosphere to stop and have a beer. The chips in the fish and chips tasted homemade and were really good. The fish itself was good, not the most authentic or crispy but tasty nonetheless.

Beware if you look younger and are from out of state. The bartender working on Saturday night (09/09/2023) does not know how to properly read a NJ driver's license.My girlfriend, some friends, and I wanted to grab some drinks and hang out for a little bit after a late dinner. Wexford's was nearby and we wanted to check the place out since we had never been before.When we entered we were courteously greeted by the bartender, everything was going smoothly. After ordering drinks, we were asked to produce identification (as expected). When the bartender got to my out-of-state girlfriend's ID, she refused it claiming it was fake. The bartender then started to be rude and rather defensive/aggressive towards our group.My girlfriend was willing to produce a secondary and third form of identification but that is when the individual behind the bar threatened with calling the police. This is when we decided it was not worth the hassle and we decided to go to a different bar in the vicinity that was more than happy to accept our business (and knew how to read IDs).This establishment and management need to train their bartenders and waitstaff on how to properly ID out-of-state patrons due to the fact that driver's licenses are slightly different from state to state. This is the first time that I have ever experienced something like this and unfortunately did put a damper on an otherwise pleasant Saturday evening.

Ambiance- not good. Very dark. Really dark. No pets allowed outside. Unusual for here. Service- ok. Nothing special Food- shepherds Pie. More mashed potatoes than meat. Short on gravy. Cup of Peas and carrots cold. Fish and chips - fries totally unacceptable. Over/cooked no crispiness, really sad. Fish (cod)very average. Not fully cooked. Batter so-so. Slaw was good. Gravy as dip saved both meals. Both meals appeared as they took the path of least resistance to cook. There was a total of 6 customers in the place so cooking pressure was not an issue. Doubt I'll go back. Too many other pub options in Tampa to try.

The shepherds pie was amazing and my wife loved the fish and chips. Super friendly staff and great selection of Irish beer. Big Smithwicks fan, it's the beer we drank in Ireland and they have it on tap. So good!
