The Wedding Retreat

Beautiful venue, lovely people, perfect experience. Couldn't have asked for anything better on my wedding day. From when I first booked to the end of our wedding night, everyone was responsive, helpful and so sweet. They made planning a wedding ridiculously easy and made it absolutely beautiful. Can't say enough good things about this place. All of my guests (and myself and new husband) had the time of our lives. The DJ was great, had so many compliments on the food/cake and just look at the pictures!

I had the most beautiful and stead free wedding thanks to The Wedding Retreat. Krista made planning everything so easy, and in wedding day Hanna and Kayla literally ran the show without even a little bit of difficulty (even bringing my husband and I plates of food so we made sure to eat). I spent my day being pampered and spending time with my loved ones. DJ Shawn Carpenter was amazing, and Photographer Chrissy KILLED IT. Oh, not to mentioned how UNBELIEVABLE the food was! The grazing table style was perfect, and everything I tried was delicious. I cannot thank this venue and all employees enough. I will never forget what a perfect day it was thanks to The Wedding Retreat.

I had my wedding here and everything was perfect! The Wedding Retreat is an all-inclusive venue that provides everything except the officiant. While it is an outdoor venue, the reception area is pretty much covered, so inclement weather shouldn't be too concerning depending on your personality. Krista is the owner and will let you choose absolutely everything to help personalize your dream wedding. If you tell her you would really like something in particular, she will make it happen. She stays on top of everything, so even if you're clueless, everything will be fine. The photos I've attached are pictures that the included photographer, Lindsey V., took. I definitely recommend tying the knot here :)

I can never put into words my love and gratitude to The Wedding Retreat! Krista and her staff made every single detail beautiful and magical. Not only did Krista give me the wedding of my dreams, she went above and beyond to ensure every single detail was perfect and taken care of. I was concerned for my sister in a wheel chair being able to get into bridal suite and she had her husband build a whole ramp for her!!!! I fell in love with my husband all over again when the barn opened. The food, and ambiance was perfect, my day was perfect. I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed

We worked with The Wedding Retreat and they made the day SO easy. They allowed us to have our rehearsal lunch the day before at the location and set up tables for us and we were able to review the tablescapes the day before. The day of, we were provided with a suite for both myself and husband and they brought us sandwiches and water. My bouquet and my husband's boutonniere (as well as bridesmaids bouquets and groomsmen boutonnieres) were provided. We got to keep ours which is a great keepsake. Additionally, they provided the guestbook that we chose (Jenga). Things did not go as planned (through the fault of the bridal party) and they kept things going smoothly. Lindsey Vander Wal did both our engagement shoot and our wedding photography. Her skills are INCREDIBLE and she is so affordable. She always knows the perfect way to capture the moment. AND her services are included in the all-inclusive price. And a special thank you to Krista Nestor, the best wedding planner (and owner of The Wedding Retreat). She made everything so easy for all of us. We had no concerns, EVER. She is so communicative and I could get in touch with her so quickly. She understood the vision we were going for and made it come to life. If you want to have a stress-free wedding, this is the place to do it. All we had to do was provide our officiant and the alcohol. Good luck to everyone planning a wedding in the future.
