The Waterhole Sports Bar

My friend told me about this spot and stated that they had some really great food..,.so I called in an order for some BLT's... they were so fresh and delicious, and they do not skimp on the bacon.I personally do not do well with cigarette smoke therefore inside was a bit smoky for me, but I just tried to isolate myself from the smoke while I waited my order. The gentleman at the bar who helped me with the order was nice and it didn't take long for my food to come out. I'd give it five stars but I just can't take secondhand smoke.

First off, you have to know what you're getting into when you go to the waterhole. It's Brandon/Bloomingdales staple dive bar. AC/DC and Lynyrd Skynyrd on the jukebox. 80% of the patrons are chain smoking cigarettes with no abandon. It's like you took a Time Machine and teleported to 1998 Daytona. Speaking of Daytona, the wings here are fantastic. Highly recommend the hot garlic parm wings and some frosty beers.

Love the water hole! Brandon/RIVERVIEW tradition! Best wings, strong drinks, best patty melt ever! I've missed you! Warning# smoking is around... so don't come and then be offended.. you can do take_out.. but it's better with the home town atmosphere.. eat some wings, watch the Rays, Bucs, Lightening!

Best wings I've found in Brandon. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. I highly recommend the garlic Parmesan. The blue cheese is on point! It's a smoky dive bar, so if that bothers you take your wings to go.

The only reason I gave this a 1 is because I can't give a zero. The weeknight bartender is a total bitch. She is always in everyone's business. Used to go here all the time. She got into my hubby's business one night and he called her out on it. Yes he cussed at her. She barred him. Two years later we went in. And her daughter who works in the kitchen called her mommy and had us thrown out. I would never walk into this place again.

Four Star Dive Bar.Excellent little locals place where everyone is welcome.Drink prices are very reasonable and the wings are pretty good.Must see on any tour of local bars in the Brandon / Valrico area.Nov 15, 2014 Update---Stopped in yesterday on the way back from my VA medical appointment to have some wings and beer. It's pretty hard to beat their $1.25 draft beer happy hour! As advertised the wings are pretty good. Great Local hangout! Had a great time talking with a couple at the bar who were probably in their 70's.

Local bar! Food is great & very relaxed atmosphere. Lots of games. Pool, darts, trivia, shuffleboard, golden tee, putt putt, bowling & lawn darts.

My first time going there we own BellShoals smoke shop we are in the same plaza So we decided to order wings and they were delicious, will definitely go back again oh and it's a local pub always packed

Wed and Thursdays you have wonderful Brent always owesome personal service() crazy funny even my boss loves him .always a treat at wawas on Tuesday. We missed always looking forward for you thanks

The service was good BUT the cranberry was sour/rotten. I ordered a simple Vodka Cranberry. Sour. Asked for manager but *wasn't available* Limited selection of beer as secondary selection. Wouldn't recommend.
