This place is absolutely incredible. The Philly cheesesteak is top-notch-- maybe even better than what you'll find in Philly. It's a small, no-frills spot, perfect for grabbing food to go, but the quality is anything but ordinary. The bread is baked fresh daily, and the meat is high-quality, perfectly seasoned, and packed with flavor. Honestly, I could eat just the meat and cheese on their own, but the bread takes it to another level. The owners are from Philly, which makes sense because they've absolutely nailed the cheesesteak. They're also super friendly, which adds to the charm of this place.I've only had the pizza twice, but it was packed with flavor and had some unique topping options. You can also go for a classic slice if that's more your style. Either way, it's well worth trying!

We pulled up into the tight parking lot, not seeing a dirt road that could have taken us in back. I went in to order and my wife grabbed one of few tables outside.I ordered the sticky fingers. It was ok. Good crust good cook. Nothing specialThe cheesesteak was bland. Fresh baked bread, maybe from yesterday. I was expecting more flavor. I got the grilled onions. Tiny little chopped onions that stuck to the wrapper. I didn't realize it until my wife asked "what about the grilled onions"?Thankfully they had a water pitcher so I could have a drink. Wont be going back.

I saw The Violet Stone as a review on YouTube. The guy originally said that his pizza was a little too well done, so I was preparing myself for some charred but delicious pizza. He also reviewed their cheesesteak which I ordered as well. When I walked in I was immediately greeted by a nice and friendly employee. Her name was Kylee and she helped me pick out a pizza and said everything would be ready in about 20 minutes.I got a classic 10 inch pizza and a classic cheesesteak. When it comes to the pizza I'd give it a 3/5. I loved the crunch and texture of the pizza. Me and my partner ate the entire thing and for around 11 dollars for the whole pie it's definitely worth the money, but it wasn't as flavorful as I thought it would be. Not too much cheese and not too much sauce, but it didn't wow me. I know it was made to order, since it took 20 minutes but the pizza wasn't super hot. That part was a little odd.The cheesesteak was the star of the show. 17 dollars is really expensive but it was filled with delicious cheesesteak and the sesame bread was amazing. It also came with grilled onions on top which made the whole sandwich so good, but in my opinion there wasn't enough of it. The cheesesteak was good, but I don't think it was worth 17 dollars. Overall the place is cute and clean. The employees were very helpful, but the pizza didn't quite meet my expectations and if the cheesesteak had more onions I'd raise my review from a 3 star to a 4. After I was done eating I was able to talk to Kylee and expressed how I felt about the food. She handled the situation gracefully and told us that the next time we come she'll put in a word to have the pizza a little extra hot and put extra onions on the cheesesteak. 3/5 stars for now, but I'm excited to come back and hope to put a better review in!Definitely worth the try!

I think they're a 3.5 stars but I'll rate them as 4 for now. I'll explain my reasoning below. The facility appears to be extremely small. Very little seating in the inside and outside. Seems like you just order ahead and take the food with you-nothing wrong with that btw.I purchased the cheesesteak with American cheese and it was super flavorful! They did load it with a decent amount of meat and it seemed most of it was being hugged with melted cheese. The bread they used was also flavorful as it had sesame seeds. However, the bread they used was slightly difficult to chew on and $17.92 for a cheesesteak is very expensive! I would expect the bread to be able to hold lord steak for that price but that's my honest opinion.

Best Philly Cheesesteak in Tampa Bay. 10/10Pizza quality control here is whacky. Sometimes you get a slightly floppy Pizza, Sometimes the pizza is burned, Sometimes it is well done. You never really know which style you'll get. However, if you get a well done that isn't burned then it is excellent. I love the Sticky Fingers Pizza here. I add on $3.25 sausage so the total price is $25.50 for the 16 inch.Sticky Fingers Pizza consists of:Fresh house made mozzarella, whole milk mozzarella, blush vodka sauce, chorizo, topped with hot honey, basil, and parmesan. Delicious 10/10 when done correctly.Always order a Philly Cheesesteak with your Pizza and eat it later. it is the best one you can possibly get in Tampa Bay and it really isn't even close.

Philly cheese steak was worth the $20 and worth the hype. The sesame bread was ......... so........ freaking......good. For sure a spot you'd want to order to-go because it's so tiny inside! Everyone was also super friendly (I was only in there for a minute) but the woman at the front was super friendly, and had me in and out. 5 stars for the Philly cheese steak

Big fan of Violet Stone. A hole in the wall slanging fresh pizza and more with a dedicated and friendly staff. As soon as I saw their caution "well-done pizza!" sign I knew i belonged. There's additional parking around back if the front lot fills up. Which typically does. And quick. Especially lunchtime. The crust deserves its own review. Crisp and airy. Topped with fresh and flavorful ingredients. The cheese is a classic and must order with hot honey. At least on half. And now for the kicker; the cheesesteak! Man oh man. What a surprise. The sesame seed bread is absolutely fresh and it shows. Cooper sharp American cheese with caramelize onions.. sheeeeeeesh. Cut into thirds to make it easily shareable. The Violet Stone has got it going on.

Came here a while ago and didn't leave a review (this was before I was serious in the review game lol) I couldn't remember my opinion on it but the feeling was generally good... not amazing. Then THE REVIEW with Portnoy happened and I thought I should get around to trying it again.Overall 7.2/10Food 7.5/10Ambiance 6.2/10Service 7.8/10We got the sticky fingers pizza and a Philly cheese steak, both were delicious but the cheese steak was the star definitely needs some peppers - banana peppers or something to cut through the savory cheesy richness- it's the same price of a pizza so choose wisely. Also the pizza isn't the easiest to reheat so finish the whole thing if you can. Not terrible but a significant drop in deliciousness (and yes I use the oven)Service is kind and fast, ambiance simple- chairs and basically take out only- just order ahead eat in the car or take to go. Worth a visit forsure
