The Urban Oak Grill and Bar

Had to update .. since it's opening I think it's been going downhill a little bit .Ordered pizza and 6 wings for take out .. 5 out of 6 wings had a ton of feathers on them still. Not just little hairs .. feathers . Whoever cooked them could easily see that they should no of been sent out . Their wing sauce is just ok. Hot isn't very hot Pizza is very good but expensive for a small personal pizza and not having a veggie pizza seems odd to me . Not sure if the same people own it .. looks like different staff

This place was a pleasant surprise. Nestled in a strip mall it's the perfect setting. Very inviting and warm. I sat at the bar and was greeted by the bartender who had a ton of order to complete but she took time to talk with me about her favorites on the menu. And not to mention that another person who was there to dine chimed in as well. I enjoyed the Brick Oven Pretzels with Gorgonzola,mozzarella cheese dip as an appetizer.Listen!!!!!!!!!! Get that!!!!!!!!! I would return just for that For dinner I ordered the Oak Pasta with blackend chicken, sauteed onions and artichokes in a creamy cajun sauce with linguini. This was great. Not to spicy, creamy and rich. I definitely would recommend it. Lastly I enjoyed a smoked old fashioned to sip on while I enjoyed my meal. Overall good experience and I will definitely be back! Service was so nice, the manager came to check on us a few times. We weren't sure if we were going to be able to finish the desserts so she came to see "how we did". She was very warm and friendly. Food was great, very fresh. I'd been here previously when they first opened, honestly didn't care for it. Think they've gotten the knack of it now. Also, they had a Christmas tree they decorate for each holiday. Super cute.

Wise jerk, I believe they were located On 52 and little, they definitely can't make a good steak sub I don't think I would ever eat there again

It's safe to say we had a little bit of everything and more not pictured ! The service was flawless for our large party of 14 ! Each item of food was unique with amazing flavors , we can not wait to return and try more off the menu ! The whipped ricotta and beer pretzels were out of this world ! So we're all the entrees and sides ! The service was outstanding our waitress was so in tune with our needs ! 10 stars we will return again this is a hidden gem !

I'm a pizza fan. My wife and I checked out this little pizza spot in New Port Richey. It was cute. The decor was nicer than I was expecting with a friendly family vibe. Very nice staff, food delivered promptly... No complaints about service or the general restaurant.The pizza was good, but didn't live up to my expectation. You can tell the pizza was cooked in a classic pizza oven... but, something just seems wrong. It might be the pizza didn't have that much sauce. It might be that the crust was just a little bit tough. The portion of pepperoni and cheese was spot on. It was a good slice of pizza... But not a great slice of pizza. I'm sure we'll check out this pizza place again and I'll update my review if I have a change of heart.

This little local joint is tucked away ,but boy does it pack a huge punch!! From the service ( JESSICA was awesome! Huge shout out for amazing service and one of a kind recommendations... with a twist.. shall we say?) love her.... To the food ... These wings are the best we have ever had, they are fantastic, so no need for sauce, but if you do, try the garlic parm! The fried green tomatoes were crispy and light yet loaded with feta and a creamy sauce to die for, they should bottle it. Or do they? And the meatball calzone?!? Fugedddaboudddittt!! You gotta come try this place!

It was busy and we were a big party but it took FOREVER for our food to catch me. One person in the party got a totally wrong meal and my calzone was actually cold in the middle. Only one person took leftovers home although there was plenty of food left. 'Nuff said

We go to the restaurant at lease once per month and purchase pizza and salads, at least twice per month, as carry outs. But last nigh was simply a horrible experience.We can blame it on the hurricane, or being busy, but when charged full price, I would expect full satisfaction.Yesterday, one day after the Hurrican, my wife, 7 year old granddaughter and I decided to go out for pizza if Urban Oaks was open. We called and was told they open at 4.We got there and had a 20 minute wait, no big issue. We were seated and had to wait 20 more minutes to place our order. We ordere a lage cheese pizza and a smaller sausage, onion mushroom, and tomato pizza.As we waited, we could see that they were very busy with carry outs, good for them! After 1/2 hour, we saw two pizzas placed on the counter under the warming lights. There was no was these could be ours, just sitting there?After 10 minutes, I bet my wife that these could not be ours. My grandaughter used my phones stop watch to count until we did get our pizzas. At 14.57 I turned the clock off. A couple of minutes later, our waitress ran by to tell us it should be a few more minutes.Low and behold, those were our pizzas. She finally took them of the counter and brought thoe to us. At this point, the question is to whom shall I speak?The cheese pizza was dry, and the texture of thesausage was like the cheese had coagulated and cold. We ate a few slices and decided to leave. The waitress was no were to be found. A couple of times, I stood up to attempt to get attention, but that served no purpose. Finally I walked up to the counter and asked for a box to go.About 5 minutes after that, the waitress whizzed by and placed our check on the table with a thank you.I am sorry to write this and I do not mean to hurt a business, but. We wanted to leave our boarded up house and have a decent meal.Regardless of how busy or other situations, we wanted to enjoy ourselves and pay for that privilege.
