The Twisted Indian

Absolutely incredible! If I could give more than five stars, I would. This Indian spot blew me away. The Paneer Masala Fries are next level--crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of spice. I could eat them every day literally! The menu has so many delicious options, lots of vegetarian as well- amazing options. Highly recommend to anyone craving authentic, mouth-watering Indian cuisine. Can't wait to come back and try more! The staff are lovely helpful and overall the whole vibe of this place is immaculate! Love everything about this epic Indian restaurant

tl:dr The food tastes fresh but most of my dish lacked any (read: zero) seasoning. Protein was seasoned but underwhelmingI have been hearing about how loved Twisted Indian is by neighbors and friends and finally decided to try it. I ordered a dish that does not have dairy, only modification was no yogurt drizzle on top. The spices and heat in my dish were lacking. I love Indian food but this did not hit the spot. Rice was unseasoned. Red cabbage was unseasoned and on the more raw side. Huge bed of plain spinach lining the dish. The protein had good flavor, but not enough to compensate for the unseasoned majority of the dish.

Twisted Indian is great place if you're feeling Indian and need something that's quick! The flavors were great! I thought the sauce was delish, however, a little too over priced for me. The dish didn't even come with naan (it was an extra 3 bucks for a side of 1 piece), and I feel like it's a MUST for a dish like this. I will say though the naan was pretty good!!

This is a nice spot to grab some quick Indian food if you're feeling it in the downtown area. The tikki masala was a little sweeter than I've had at other places, and the portioning could have a been a bit better for the price. Naan also was not included with the bowl which is a must for tikki masala. It was not the best but I didn't hate it, not sure if I would come back.

Twisted Indian is a cozy dim lit eatery that is perfect for a quick bite. I ordered the chicken tikka bowl and every ingredient in the bowl seemed well thought out. Chicken was tender, cabbage was fresh, and the basmati rice was the perfect texture. Perfect amount of spice if you're looking for flavor without sweating all over your food. 10/10 would come back. Customer service was great as well.

Came here for book club. Limited seating but we made it work. I ordered the Yogi Fries with Paneer Tikka Masala. It is sidewinder chat fries, tikka masala sauce, mozzarella cheese, a tangy slaw, a raita yogurt sauce, and cilantro. Very delicious but a little spicy for me personally.

If you somehow manage to enter this restaurant and exit without purchasing SOMETHING, you have the strength of 1,000 soldiers. Just the aromatics and spices in the air get my mouth watering. My go to is the lamb keema Bollywood Bowl with a Mango Lassi. I've never been disappointed. The presentation (even in to go containers) is beautiful. The food? Delicious, filling and flavorful. The portions? Generous. I usually have some to eat later and it still tastes delicious cold after being refrigerated. Twisted Indian is a real gem. If you're not into spicy food this may be a challenge for you. Nothing I've had is offensively spicy but if you're spice averse, try sampling a friend's dish to see how you like it. The singular change that would improve my meal would be to bring back the chopped lamb instead of ground lamb. Otherwise 15/10. Truly.

Keep meaning to try some of the other items on the menu, but I always wind up ordering the chicken tikka masala naanwich! That's how good it is. Great flavors all around and just the right level of heat.The first time I ordered from here was for takeaway but I recently dined in and it's a nice little shop - busy in the evenings and relatively light on seating but they keep the line moving and your food comes out fast!

These are THE KINDEST HUMANS on the PLANET. I keep coming back again and again. Their food keeps getting better. And they always, ALWAYS take care of you sp if you're a regular. No matter how busy, they're a well-oiled machine.TIPPP: buy their coconut pineapple kombucha. Amazing food with each part of the dish offering a unique set of flavors. I am addicted and highly recommend it. If you love Indian food then you will enjoy the subtle differences.
