The Stadium

The one star is for the fact they had the sports game playing that we wanted to watch. Otherwise, it's two thumbs down. The server took our order without recording anything, and got a lot of it wrong. The fried mushrooms were soggy in freezer isle batter. My Cuban sandwich, which is supposed to have fresh bread from Ybor according to the menu, was rock hard. Like, maybe over toasted but also very stale. The meat was gamey with an after taste that made me stop after a couple bites.Go for the sports, go for the beer, but don't go for the service or the food.

Food was amazing got half a pound of honey chipotle service was amazing and I love the ambiance!!

This is a sports bar where everyone definitely knows your name. A local sports bar located in a strip mall with friendly welcoming faces and awesome price drinks. Plenty of flat screens for sporting events and a sizable rectangular bar area. We sat at the bar with friends and enjoyed a relaxing evening talking about anything.

Best chicken wings ever Even got them to go really good. Blue cheese really good also

Horrendous Customer Service at The Stadium Restaurant and BarI have been a long-time resident of New Port Richey and decided to support a local establishment, The Stadium Restaurant and Bar located at 2349 Seven SpringsBlvd, New Port Richey FL. Unfortunately, my experience was nothing short of a disaster, and I feel compelled to warn others about their appalling customer service and disregard for customer needs.I placed a takeout order for pretzels, specifically requesting over the phone that they be lightly cooked due to a throat condition stemming from prior radiation treatment. This critical request was entirely ignored. When I arrived home--after a 15-minute drive--the pretzels were not only severely burnt but also stale, rendering them completely inedible. To add insult to injury, the packaging was stapled shut, so I had no way to inspect the food before leaving the restaurant.Upon calling the restaurant to rectify the issue, I was connected to a manager named Mike. I calmly explained the situation and requested a credit for the inedible food, offering to send photographic evidence of the burnt pretzels. Instead of addressing the issue with professionalism or compassion, Mike took a condescending tone, dismissively correcting my estimation of how much additional time it would take to return and have the food remade. His arrogant attitude only escalated when I reiterated that I could not reasonably make another 45-minute trip for a simple $25 order. Rather than resolving the situation amicably, he rudely insisted this was "their policy" and refused to make any accommodations.I will admit to losing my temper in response to his unprofessional demeanor, but this situation should never have escalated to that point. As a customer who politely explained a legitimate issue, I should have been treated with respect and care, not disdain and arrogance. The lack of basic courtesy and customer service skills demonstrated by the management at The Stadium is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole.If you value your time, money, and dignity as a customer, I strongly urge you to avoid this restaurant. There are plenty of other local establishments that prioritize customer satisfaction and are willing to address issues in a reasonable manner. The Stadium Restaurant and Bar clearly does not.

My daughter and I are there for lunch. We went straight home after that. We both got diarrhea. I am a chef by profession and I look to support local restaurants. Getting sick means poor food handling or temperature control or even bad product. Being a cook or chef is not only about cooking, HACCP plays a big role in the restaurant business.

6-7-2024It has been over 4 years since we last ate at this dive. Yes a dive. We decided not to eat in and got an order to go. My wife ordered a Philly Cheese steak sandwich. It was the worst Philly she has ever had. She said the beef had a good flavor, but it was "overcooked and dry." The fries were "greasy and nasty." (her words). I ordered a hotdog Chicago style. It was OK. I don't know where they are getting their buns, but it was not a Chicago dog bun. It was dried up, obviously not fresh. My fries were like hers, greasy and nasty, but let me add one more to the fry order. Half of my fries were covered in mustard. I think they threw those in after they put the hotdog in the container.I think it will be another 4 years or more before we try this place again.1-15-2020Service was slow and not very attentive. Wings were cooked in old grease. They tasted burnt and the sauce was not buffalo wing sauce. That may be a result of the old fryer grease. Worst experience I've had in a long time. Won't be back any time soon.

I came on a Friday night, it was busy but my food was out quickly. I ordered chicken tenders and they were amazing! Very good flavor and tender. Regarding the restaurant itself, it is a typical bar and grill, nice ambiance to the place and overall a positive experience!

Simple pickup order, not busy, Two dudes goofing off when I got there. Neither ever put the order in. Not the first time. I'm done with the Stadium. Back in 1989 they were one of the only places in the area. Now, too many other choices in the area to put up with this.
