After having brunch at Hyde Park, I was looking for coffee and saw The Salty Donut so I decided to pick up a coffee from The Salty Donut.I went to the counter and ordered Cold Brew coffee with whole milk. I soon got my coffee and I was on my way. The coffee was well made with good taste and less sugar which was perfect for me.Although I didn't have donuts this time, I will definitely have a combination of donuts and coffee next time.

The Salty Donut offers elevated donuts at what I consider an elevated price. For 6 donuts the total was ~$32. This is a small donut/coffee shop with about 20 indoor seats in the Hyde Park area. Parking can be tricky but rest assured you will be able to snag a metered spot at some point. The staff member that helped us was very patient and friendly. We did not feel rushed to order which I appreciated. The donut options are displayed at the front counter and it's a beautiful sight! These donuts are extremely photogenic and IG worthy. Unfortunately for me, the ones I tried were waaaaay too sweet. Majority of them had a massive amount of filling as well. Although I didn't love these donuts that's not to say others won't enjoy them. If you're looking for something different compared to an old school donut shop this might be for you!

These were simply some of the best donuts I've ever had! The flavors were incredible and the texture was creamy and soft. You better be careful because these are addictive donuts! I highly recommend them for any office/class party, group gathering or celebration!

Yum!! I forget the exact name of the doughnut I had but it was delicious! The doughnut itself reminded me of fried dough, and the frosting tasted like a light fluffy marshmallow. I did go later in the morning so there wasn't a huge selection left to pick from but I was very happy with my choice. The service was fast and the shop was decorated very cute and was clean. I recommend stopping in if you are in the area.

Donut was hugee, but very tasty. Loved it! Coffee was also a 10/10, could taste the coffee and the flavor, was a good balance. I got the vanilla bean iced latte. Ambiance 10/10 , wasn't busy or overwhelming , as I could get a few assignments done !
