The Roasted Fig

Was looking for caterers. This business shows a service area in Tampa but all reviews were from Ft Lauderdale (Or other parts of the country), assuming he relocated his business to Tampa bay area, then he should a) claim the business and b) explain. I'm guessing no longer in business?? All reviews are old. Very few reviews and rating makes it compete with other local businesses for my time and investigation. I'm not a caterer trying to hurt another business, just a consumer who is often not thrilled with Yelp's filtering and rating system. So, if this is still a legitimate active business...the single star is for Yelp for their poor criteria, which I will continue to ding them on because they could do SO MUCH BETTER.

We hired Chef Freddy/The Roasted Fig recently for two dinners.Mariana was awesome to work with. She was helpful every step of the way especially with creating the menu considering various food allergies we had to work with.The food was delicious and our clients were very pleased with Chef Freddy.

The Roasted Fig caters a monthly meeting I attend. I've also had the opportunity to sample some of their food at a festival and other local events. The food is always fresh and tastes amazing! The presentation is beautiful and you can tell Chef Freddy takes great pride in his work. The other thing that makes Chef Freddy unique is that I'm always willing to try his dishes. Not a huge fan if ceviche- I LOVE his! I really don't care for sweet potatoes but I gave them a try and his mashed sweet potatoes with spice was FANTASTIC! I always look forward to what he's going to come up with next! If you're looking to cater an office lunch, event, or even just an intimate dinner at home- I highly recommend The Roasted Fig. They work within any budget and I know they use only top quality products. I also just learned they do meal service plan for the week. I may have to try that!

The food and service were amazing. Highly recommended. I contracted The Roasted Fig for a breakfast I was sponsoring. They delivered on time and took care of all the set up. The food was delicious, everyone enjoyed it and took some home with them. They do all sorts of type of events. They are a very professional and reliable company, I will definitely be using them again. I wish I could use them every morning at my office because the food is delicious! Look no further for your catering needs.

Thank you both for helping us celebrate our beautiful bride! Mariana was super communicative and assisted us in picking the perfect menu. Chef Freddy arrived early day of event prepared with all of his cooking needs. The food was absolutely delicious! We chose chicken satay app, Signature Roasted Fig Salad, chimichurri steak, carrots and potatoes. Everything was just amazing. They are an honest team, groceries weren't as expensive as quoted so they lowered invoice. I would highly recommend this team and look forward to using their services again!

The Roasted Fig, Chef Kyle came to my house and cooked for 9 people for my husband's birthday. We had the yummy crab cakes which were huge and tasty. The caesar salad was perfect and not too heavy of a dressing which was really nice. The filet, my husband and my son both said was one of the best they have had. The overall experience was amazing. Chef Kyle was so helpful and from the minute he came into our home and I did not have to do a thing including cleaning the dishes. Thank you Roasted Fig we highly recommend you!

My friends and I chose Roasted Fig for a bachelorette party dinner in Miami Beach and we LOVED our experience. The organizers were professional, friendly, and incredibly easy to work with. They were up-front about the estimated costs/time and we knew exactly what we were going to get. And of course, the food was amazing! Chef Freddy has fabulous taste and all the dishes were truly phenomenal. We would especially recommend the provencal tartlets with roasted vegetables and herbs, and their signature fig salad. Absolutely delicious! Thank you so much for making this experience wonderful for me and my friends!

Chef Freddy cooked dinner for my group of 16 while renting a home in Fort Lauderdale. Every single thing was delicious, perfectly cooked, and presented beautifully. We had such a wonderful experience and it was a breeze setting up through Mariana. We ran out of bottled water and Chef Freddy picked us up a couple cases while shopping for food for our dinner -- so nice! We also felt like it was very reasonably priced. There aren't enough good things to say about Chef Freddy and The Roasted Fig!

We hired them for an outdoor event and everything went great. Prior to booking I spoke with Mariana who was excellent. She was professional and responsive. The day of the event we had a chef and his assistant arrive in uniform, on time and with everything necessary to make the meals and display professionally. I highly recommend this team, we will definitely use them again for other company events.

We selected The Roasted Fig to celebrate a birthday with 9 adults and 2 toddlers and we truly enjoyed Chef Freddy and Kyle. The menu options were plentiful and their team was highly organized and responsive from ordering, arriving and invoicing. The food was delicious and we all really enjoyed Chef Freddy's explanation of each course with the ingredient selections background, origin, etc. Our favorites were the Ceviche and the bread pudding . . .Will certainly call on Roasted Fig again.
