The Quick Red Fox

We were down the way and noticed this place advertised so we decided to stop in. This is a large rectangular bar which patrons can sit at on every side. We sat next to the wall. I asked what they have for options which was beer or cocktails. The beer choices were not friendly to anyone who doesn't like the standard Bud/Light, Coors, etc.... Yuengling is about as exotic as it gets here. On that alone we won't be back. Hey, it's their prerogative to serve whatever they want... it must work for them. The place is really dark and smoky. Tv's to watch. I did not use the restroom while there. I guess overall I was not super impressed. The bartender was very nice. A couple of the patrons were friendly. That was about it. Honestly, it is not horrible. It is 'ok.' But we most likely won't be backlist based on the (lack of) beer selection.

I got introduced to this place from some chick and her mom, they wanted to do the karaoke they had. Anyways, they turned out to be crazy, but I found a cool new bar. It's called the quick red fox but it should be called the quick cheap fix. I've probably only come here a handful of times but the bartenders are always a familiar face, they know my name and are pouring my PBR as soon as I walk in the door. The regular barflies are always there and always friendly, there's generally always a good amount of people there but it's never crowded. The bartenders are great, albeit lacking an iPhone charger bringing an inevitable end to my night. I felt like trying some new mixed drinks, and asked both of them for their favorites. Got a rum runner and one of the bartenders own creation, two of them actually. They were all delicious.I occasionally like to custom order a drink I love, Kungaloosh, from the old Disney adventurers club. And I'd never had anyone make it, but I knew they'd be able too here, and it was amazing. I live in east lake, my car overheats, I'm driving without a hood at the moment, but I still make the drive anytime I feel like a drink. It's a great place, where everybody knows your name.

Honestly, the place is a good 'dive' for regulars to go to and be with friends. I honestly thought the place was dirty and a bit raunchy. It smelled of bugs.They do have TVs ALL over the place on different channels for news, sports, TV shows. They have a good selection of liquor and have the basics. Not bad over-all.

I've been a regular customer at The Quick Red Fox since I moved to Clearwater in May. The drink specials are very affordable and has a great "dive bar" atmosphere. The staff is very friendly, makes you feel welcome, and gets to know you personally after a few visits. This bar also hosts some of the best karaoke I've ever been to, with a song selection that rivals any other bar in the Bay Area. Saturday is definitely the day to stop by as the crowd tends to be larger than on a weekday night, which brings out the better singers. Definitely recommend this bar to anyone looking for a place that feels like home.

Horrible service, probably the meanest bar tender I ever encountered. Drinks are crap they don't even have Budlight or Coors on tap, skip this place!

Very friendly staff with a home town feel. Great price for drinks and if you are from out of town they go out of the way to let you know about all of the best things to do in town . Lots of parking and games

I have been to this bar several times. Yes, it is a dive; but far from the worst I've seen. The bar tenders have always been very cool and fun loving; you may need to be patient once in awhile-they're working their ass off! The patrons are normally very friendly good local people. The drink prices are pretty reasonable. But they do allow smoking, which may not be favorable for everyone. Lots of tvs and music available. This location is well known among the taxis as well. The posters in the men's room make me soooooo.........happy :)
