The Pit Stop Pub

This place loses one star because it doesn't have traditional spirits.Aside from that, the place is a fun, small, dive bar that knows exactly what it is. We came here on a Tuesday night after a date and the bartender was very friendly, there were a handful of regulars hanging out, good music, good dive vibes. Darts and pool were available, but I was too enthralled by my date to want to go play I saw they serve food, but I didn't try it. We'd just eaten.

So I have been going to this place for a couple years. I am medically retired from the United States Army. After serving in Iraq and Afghanistan several times. I have tried to make this my home because I can walk to the bar from my house but the amount of disrespect that I have received from a fellow customer and the bar did absolutely nothing about it is incredibly disappointing. Three separate times

I think it's a requirement to be a true dive bar that you been in a seedy looking strip mall and have some very gnarly regulars. This place hits both those check boxes. While cruising around and exploring T and C, I happened to spy the sign on this place and decided to give it a whirl. The front and door looks like an old world pub, and when you walk in, you find a bar that I could probably stretch my arms out and hit both sides, but that feels its a football field long. My first time here, the second I sat down a lovely, very short Asian man began to scream at the top of his lungs at me and cackle uncontrollably. I smiled, nodded, and pretended I was transfixed on whatever was on the tiny television, and proceeded to avoid all eye contact. A few mins later he decided to scream elsewhere. I then proceeded to have a nice chat with a fellow about motorcycles and he gave me the low down on all the biker bars and the best routes to avoid cops. Every bartender here I've ever interacted with has been quick to smile, very friendly, and quick to sling some suds. You can also tell they know the regulars well. I glanced over and saw a pretty large dog walking in from the back parking lot, and the bartender quickly grabbed some treats from beneath the bar and tossed them in the dogs direction. Apparently the dog is visually impaired and was playing with an empty Popov bottle as a chew toy. With shenanigans like this, I really want to give this place 4 stars. The biggest issue for me was the smoke. Yes, dive bars are smokey, but this place took the cake. After a few minutes, I was sitting there crying into my $1.25 mug of beer, probably looking like I had just been dumped. I'm glad I didn't know anyone well enough for them to ask me what was wrong. Or perhaps, that's what the Asian man had been screaming.

Great home place bar pit stop to come relax enjoy great company...relaxing atmosphere awesomeness all around the owner rocks can't ask for a better pit stop if you ask me tvs sports entertainment pool tables video games ..come one come all!

It was cool. Played good music. You can also request music and it will play. 1$ Jell-O shots. 15$ buckets. Can't beat the prices. Also got pool tables to play on. Good dive bar.

I always judge a bar by how you feel when you left the place. This place was kinda cool in that I was made to feel welcome by the bartender and a couple of long-time regulars including one who used to live near me years ago. Very small world kind of thing.Pros: Pure dive bar in every sense of the word.Definitely got that "Everybody knows your name" Cheers feel to it. My first visit I had several people want to know how I heard about the place and who I was. Most bars people ignore you but this one didn't.Female bartenders are all friendly. Jesse is mega sweet and fun to look at :)Decent domestic beer prices, around $3 per beer.Free food. The night I went in they had free homemade BBQ which was fantastic. Jesse even heated it up in the microwave for me. They say somebody is always cooking and bringing stuff in. They even encourage you to bring in sides lol. Never heard of a Potluck bar before but they pull it off.They always have the Rays game on the TVPool games in the back are always onGreat place to get drunkCons:My only mild complaint is I am not a fan of really smoky bars and this one falls under that category. It wont prevent me from going back but just know its smoky.

This is a real place. Expect to be treated like you walked into a very comfortable, fine trimmed, lively environment. You'll never feel forgotten & as far as "dive bars " go. This is a classy, very well established tavern. There's a mix crowd. So it goes...

I love this place it's great tip your damn barbers lol, dont ruin the pool tables and if you want get your mom a great gift or even for yourself if you are interested in that kind of stuff spend some time with the claw machine

Stephanie is by far the best bartender and makes this place amazing to be at! Great drinks and people!
