What a superb dining experience! We went on a Sunday night before an event at Amalie Arena. The service was on point from beginning to end. Lucy, our server, kept everything moving at a good pace and answered all our questions. The interior is well appointed with a cozy, warm vibe. The noise level picked up as the evening went on, and more diners arrived, but it was not loud enough to prevent comfortable conversation. The food was excellent! The cornbread was delicious and was the perfect comfort food. I had the Gulf snapper, and my husband had the fish and chips. Both were prepared exceptionally well. We finished off the evening with a brown sugar pie.We will definitely come back soon!

I will start with this: the restaurant is nice, but don't get high expectations based on the book's cover. The food was great, we loved the oysters as well as the sea bass specialty. The hanger steak was good, though it didn't taste of Korean ingredients but rather just a ginger soy sauce. Our waitress was good, checking up every so often. The ambiance was nice, not too loud, on the darker side but still nice and cozy. The front of the house is where we were put off which is a shame because it was the first seconds of our experience. There were four people up at the host stand, one on the phone and three who ignored us. Now, how do I know we were ignored? One of them made eye contact, began to walk over, another hostess said something and she stopped to turn around and continue the conversation and then didn't bother greeting us. We had a gentleman walk us to our table although I should say jogged because he didn't give a single fly's fart about where we were in comparison - we lost track of him twice. Overall, I'd like to say that we just had a bad experience here but I really can't say as it was our first time. In my opinion this was kind of a flop - whomp whomp.

My partner and I went to the Pearl for the second time for brunch. Devin was our server and provided excellent service! I had the pancakes with caramel sauce and pretzels. It was SO good and extremely sweet. My partner had the tater tots which were large and very fluffy inside along with the chicken burger. We also shared the garlic shrimp appetizer and it was sooo good!! We also each had a cocktail and were tasty. I will definitely return to the Pearl for another outing.

Another amazing Michelin star experience to add to the water street restaurants. Such lovely decor throughout and in waiting area with the touch of the Christmas story lamp. Love it!Our waitress Whitney was outstanding. She went above and beyond ensuring we were well taken care of. Much appreciated. Drinks and mocktails were really good. Starters of garlic shrimp was absolutely delicious. Must try and that jalapeño cornbread and honey butter.... Holy moly. Both exceptional. Entrees was very good and everyone was pleased with their meals. Too stuffed for dessert but hope to be back soon.We also had the pleasure of meeting the executive chef Olivia to let her know we absolutely loved everything!

I guess you already know The PearlIs highly recommended! We went forBrunch on a Sunday. I recommend reservations. We were seated in a really cool area where they walk you past the kitchen to get to. Everyone is hustling and working hard! We ordered the tiny biscuit donuts - ummmmm! Service was great and all of our entrees were delicious.

This is a good spot for a nice meal. The service started out a little bit slow but it ended what real nice. The Cury Muscles were fantastic. We also had 1/2 dozen oysters and they too were very good. The ambiance was very clean and well put together. It was a good time and not too bad of a price either. We will return.

I sat at the bar here at the Pearl and of course the service was top. My bartender was Kevin and he was great. I came here for lunch and was craving the braised short ribs. Stupid me... that is for dinner, s9 no short ribs for me.I did get the oysters on the half shell for $12. Three oysters, Rose & Garnet, MA, Blue Point, CT, and Plum Point, RA. All were good. Also ordered the app, Devils on Horseback. So imagine bacon wrapped dates filled with warm gruyere and topped with an onion cilantro salsa. That salsa made the difference because the dates are quite sweet. Also, I wish it had more cheese. It came on a heated plate so don't be like me and not listen to the warning. That plate was, hot, hot, hot. They have craft beer here, a good selection, including St Bernardas, and Delirulium. They also have a good wine selection and specialty drinks, spirits, etc.I have to come back for dinner because that braised short rib is calling me, like Pookie in New Jack City.

The food and ambiance is amazing. and usually, the service is too. I don't appreciate my waitress asking about my pregnancy status AFTER serving me alcohol. First of all, I'm absolutely not and second, if she was concerned about the health of my so-called baby, she could've asked before serving us a mimosa kit. I don't remember her name, but she had dark hair. I was on vacation, and I'd come back, but not with her as my server.
