Was here last night, had a good time. Came to do my meet n greet with my new adventure. Had two beers sense I don't allow myself to go to wild on the first night. Couple if locals were inside. Bar tender we had was a charming playful gentleman. Sense i came more for my company than the place, i chose to focus my whole being on them so I didn't take pictures. I will definitely be back to give it an honest full package review. They got karaoke, a pool table n a nice outdoor patio with privacy walls. I didn't go back out sense it really takes half of beer to get me drunk. I wasn't gonna flop like waffle into the floor. I think 2 hours in we saw more gentlemen come in and madams also. It is a nice chill spot. No drama, just a bunch of folks getting wrecked on the $15 drink all night special n singing karaoke. I never done karaoke but i promise i will next time. Ima bring my cat-girl super power out! How was the date? Definitely moving forward with the conquest! We after party n i got home around 3am lol so i had a blast. I will come back during pride to, want to see how Lakeland celebrates it. Do I recommend this place? Hell yeah! Lot of good looking dudes, fun staff, karaoke n pool tables. What else do u need? Fabulous place to meet new people. Friendly staff, great drinks and a variety of entertainment including drag, comedy and karaoke. A hidden gem in Polk county.

I was recently here to celebrate pride with my bestie and we had SUCH A GREAT TIME!!! We made friends with people, employees were crushing it on a really busy night, never an attitude or anything like that. The queens were killer, amazing performances from everyone. The crowd was super fun, warm & welcoming to us newcomers. The only reason for the 4 stars is due to the size & lack of upgrades. I feel like this may not necessarily even be their fault bc ya know.. hard times for everyone right now & upgrades may not be financially possible. Once we started having fun & dancing & meeting others, the size of the place didn't make a difference. I love that there is an outdoor patio, a dance floor, & even another lil room for those just hanging out. I really had such a great time & I can't wait to go back

Came here on a Saturday night. We arrived at about 10:30/11 and they announced that the drag show would be starting soon. So, we got drinks (I got water. It was everything I hoped water would be BUT my friends said the drinks were good), went to the bathroom (It was clean and has a full length mirror ), walked around (there's another little bar area and an outside patio in the back), and danced (fun music). The drag show was so fun! These queens are beautiful and they came to DANCE. Just to emphasize, it was so much fun! I've been completely underestimating this place. It's got that same fun vibe of any gay club in the larger cities. I reopened my yelp account to write THIS review because I think Lakeland's been sleeping on this place. The 4/5 stars is only because smoking is allowed inside.

Went on a Tuesday evening and had a blast. Mike the bartender was fun, younger guys were in their own click, but I met a few nice people, and had a good time. It's a small, friendly bar, check it out, be open to meeting people and you'll have a good time. I did!!!

I am a big fan and you should be a proud fan. The Pulse (Green Parrot) has been open since the 70's. Many gay bars have come and gone even in Hillsborough & Pinellas. But, here in Lakeland we are proud of our small, everlasting bar.

Not a good vibe, some people seem a bit hostile. Love the atmosphere but could find somewhere a little more friendly, definitely won't be coming back.

I've never been to Lakeland, FL. My friend and I found this gay club on Yelp and we thought to give it a try. First and foremost I'm 60 years old. I've been to many gay establishments from Portland ME to San Francisco, CA. Upon arrival at 11:00pm the building looked dilapidated. The parking lot was dirt and the arrival experience gave an impression of being an unsafe area. The doormen we're welcoming and cordial. The bar tender was very nice too.Our Drag Show experience was constantly interrupted by a belligerent extremely intoxicated female patron as you can see below in the screen shot.She should have been escorted from the club and kicked to the curb. She was interrupting the show and harassing patrons to the point that we left 15 minutes after the show started.I understand it's a small club. It is what it is and serves the gay community in Lakeland, FL.Would I return? Possibly. Only if you put a muzzle on the belligerent drunk with the trucker mouth.

I don't know what other people are talking about, but I been there a couple of times when I was in town and I was not disappointed. Got really lucky to show up on the night of the Drag Wars. All I can say is the show was entertaining. Don't let the outside appearance turn you away. The staff treats everyone like old friends. You what $20-$40 drinks go elsewhere.
