The Palmetto Club at FishHawk Ranch

I tend to go here when voting season comes. It's the location for my ZIP Code and it's always clean and well captain. I've never personally rented it for anything, but when there are events there, I have recommend that everyone give it a shot.

My friends and I attended the Fever production "Mad Hatter Tea party" at the venu. The event was advertised as at a "Tampa location" that would be revealed later. In all honesty, I don't consider this a "Tampa location." This venue is in Fishhawk Ranch which is still in Hillsborough County but almost Manatee County.Anyway, we used waze to find it and the venue is very nice. It has a good sized parking lot and is nice and wide open and bright on the inside. I assume where the tea party was held is a big ballroom that the group used to construct a couple rooms for us "guests" to go through before we made it to the tea party. It has got to be a really big space and looking at my photos you can see that anything can be done with the space.As we left we went out the patio and through the garden space, which is also large. One could have a big outdoor event there, with or without a tent.Overall, it was a nice event at a nice venue and if you are looking for a venue on the Hillsborough-Manatee border, it would be a great pick.

Love this place! Beautiful inside went for a Special meeting. Sound was good. I would have loved to get married there. A Diamond in clubs. No food served. Easy drive. Beautiful homes in the area. Top Notch

Our daughter's wedding at the Palmetto Club was like a fairytale... the setting was gorgeous and the food outstanding! I would highly recommend it!

Honestly, this is probably a 5 star venue but the location makes me drop it to 3.I have been to two different weddings at The Palmetto Club. There is a lovely outside area for ceremonies and the inside ballroom is very nice. It is quite spacious with a cocktail hour area that allows for passed appetizers and drinks. The décor is beautiful and it is a very nice neighborhood.I just really hate how far away from all things Tampa this is. There are no hotels close and it takes a long time to get all the way out there. I still enjoy the venue, just wish it was a better location.

Another event at the Palmetto club where the exclusive caterer "Puff and Stuff" F A I L E D miserably. Second year in a row where the buffet line, as managed by the caterer, ran out of food after the first rotation was served. This left guests standing around for over 15 minutes with half filled plates and food getting cold. Some many things were wrong with this caterer, stale rolls (yes, old, stale, inedible breads). Meats and vegetables were cold and not kept warm. Steer clear of this location as long as they use this caterer.
