The Olive Tree

Such a unique store located in a vibe'n dot in Wesley Chapel. The Olive Tree is an experience of olive oil and vinegar tasting. The store Representative was very knowledgeable and gave us a tour and history of the store and how the vinegar and olive oils are produced, She also took us on a unique tasting journey. She combined some of the oils and vinegars together to create a complex tasting and recommended food pairings. If you've experienced a wine tasting you'll go bananas over this store. They also sell paseas, sauces a few other items to help create your own meal at home. The pictures I've provided will give you a perfect idea of the space. They have plenty of parking and often offer specials on selected store items. Give this store a visit and explore something new. Enjoy the photos!

Appears to be shut down? Although the listed hours reflect it being opened. Huge waste of time driving from Tampa to see an empty space. Poor communication must be the reason the place closed down lol.

Due to lack of parking at neighboring store we parked in their parking spot. Within 30 seconds an employee came out and insisted we move. We tried to explain there was no parking available besides her two spots. I told her we would leave, but we would remember her hospitality. She immediately became enraged, cursing, threatening, and making absence hand gestures. She then stood behind my vehicle in an attempt to block us from leaving. It was absolutely surreal. When I spoke with her neighboring business about her they confirmed that she has been very aggressive with multiple people.

Yesterday I was in search of olive oil and balsamic vinegar combos to give as Christmas gifts. I decided to visit The Olive Tree after reading the great reviews. As soon as I walked into the shop I was greeted by a friendly staff member and was given a "tour" of the store. The store layout is divided by infused olive oils, extra-virgin olive oils, and white and dark balsamic vinegars, making it very easy to find your way around. As I was tasting the infused olive oils, store co-owner Donna greeted me to help me find a delicious flavor pairing. We ended up with the Wild Mushroom & Sage Olive Oil and the Cranberry Pear White Balsamic Vinegar. The Cranberry Pear was so delicious I purchased a bottle for myself. Some of the other balsamic vinegar flavors I tried were Sicilian Lemon, Lemongrass-Mint, Black Mission Fig, Blackberry Ginger, Red Apple, Lavender, Dark Chocolate, and Espresso and they were all so good! After selecting the pairings Donna boxed the bottles in a festive gift box and place them in gift bags. One less thing to worry about. While checking out I got to chatting with the other store co-owner, John, about how the world of olive oil is very similar to the world of wine. Olive oil comes from so many different regions in the world and each harvest tastes differently. When you find a bottle of olive oil you really enjoy, make sure to savor the flavor because you may never find that same exact taste again. I recently learned that olive oil can also offer many health benefits as well as excel the taste of your food as long as you're not consuming the rancid, refined oils that are found in most grocery stores, after reading the cookbook Salt, Fat, Acid, Heat. It's important to taste different kinds of olive oils to find what you really like. I will definitely be using my gift card soon.

If you're a foodie/cook you will go crazy in here. There are at least 60 different oils and vinegars in here. You can taste any of them. Plus gourmet items like pasta, olives and seasonings. I also bought some smoked maple syrup. Will be amazing on salmon. The owner was great, very knowledgeable and helpful. Great gifts too! Do yourself a favor and stop in.

What a great place this is. Has all kinds of different flavors for the oil. My can't live with out is Garlic, and oddly enough raspberry, you would be surprised all the things you can use the Raspberry on and it adds so much flavor. This is a great gift place for those that enjoy the kitchen. They do a great job packaging it up.

First rate balsamics and fresh olive oils. Before finding this store I have had to drive across Tampa to Joe and Sons. The Olive Tree has equivalent high quality. Save your time and palate by skipping Von Fass in Wiregrass where quality is poor. The Olive Tree is the real deal, and the proprietors are knowledgeable

So happy to find the Olive Tree again. Donna was so nice and patient as we sampled and she explained the different oils and vinegars. Try it, you'll like it.

A Wesley Chapel GEM for sure! I stumbled across this store when they first opened and have been back several times ever since. The owner and staff have all been extremely knowledgable and kind which is a huge plus these days. They always make me feel like you would if you stopped in at a neighbor's house. Awesome hospitality. The quality of the olive oils and balsamics that they travel far and wide for are why I go back! They have a balsamic that is so smooth, you could drink it! Absolutely delish. Their olive oils and balsamic make really nice gifts for a busy girl like me who often needs to grab something nice, last-minute. We are SO lucky this locally owned gem made it through the pandemic. I stopped in here and loved the atmosphere! So nicely organized and zen with nice calming music. The owner, Donna, took her time talking with me and offering me samples, also giving me recommendations for pairings. I purchased oil, vinegar, pasta, and stuffed olives. I love them all and will definitely be returning for more for myself as well as gifts for friends.
