The Muddy Root Kava Cafe

We got off the highway to refuel and came across the Muddy Root! Super cool decor with a relaxed feel. The menu has some fun simple options. We had a plain bagel toasted with cream cheese and it was light and delicious. We also ordered a bagel with bacon, egg and cheese. It was flavorful and filling. I also had a nitro cold brew with cold foam. Super powerful!! Hold on to your saddle if you get this but it is good! The restaurant was a one woman show but she did a great job, taking the order, cooking and making the coffee. They also have a nice big clean restroom. Best of luck Muddy Root! Check them out!

Super helpful atmosphere. I would definitely use this as a place to get work done or study. Music is a good volume and it's spacious. Even has a large table for group work or group coffee outing. Smart and simple.

We had the worst experience at this cafe. We visited this cafe with our kids and one of the customers came to us and said that our kid was loud when the kid was just giggling and having fun.. When I said that this is a public place the customer said this place is only for adults. I checked with the barista and she was the rudest and said if it bothers her customers then she has to ask us to leave.. we ended up leaving with our kids after this worst experience of being racially discriminated by a bunch of white entitled people.. Will never go back to this place and don't recommend it to anyone especially with family...

Great vibes always. The staff is always friendly and they have lots of delicious drinks to try. The root beer float is fantastic!
