The Lazy Maid Creperie

This is an adorable place in a historic house serving up both savory and sweet crêpes. The house is decorated such that you could go in here several times and never see all the eclectic decorations.Even though it took a while to get our food, the service was very friendly and we met the owner, which was an extra special treat. Keep in mind that they make their food fresh so waiting a little bit is actually worth it. They've opened up a boutique upstairs and I scored a nice dress at a great price. The day was cold, so having a hot cup of chai, tea was just what hit the spot along with our savory crêpes.

Let's sum this up in one word....AMAZING!!! This delightful little place takes you back in time to a French bistro. The atmosphere is eclectic & interesting. The crepes? Light, fluffy & perfection. The whipped cream is homemade as well & is like eating air, not too sweet. Definitely recommend for a lovely brunch or lunch!

I have been wanting to go to Lazy Maid for a long time now and it just never seemed to work out when we planned to. After seeing a bit of an online scuffle with some seemingly belligerent customers who then took to FB to denigrate a local business I decided it was time to make it happen. I went on Sunday as a belated Galentines with my 8 year old daughter and it was INCREDIBLE. She especially loved the eclectic, elegantly cluttered and interesting decor. Our waitress was so sweet, service was excellent, the food was TO DIE FOR. My daughter loves crepes but when she saw the French Toast special said she had to have that. My monte cristo crepe was amazing. It was busy but didn't feel overwhelming since the rooms are all segmented. I was very happy with what we received for the price, service and atmosphere. The only thing that could put it over the top would be a beer and wine license so I could have a mimosa for Sunday brunch. Other than that, no notes. Amazing. Go there immediately.

This adorable restaurant was delectable, inviting, and the portions were generous. The savory was even better than the sweet and that says a lot

This was such a great experience! The service, the ambiance and the food were all great. With whimsical decor throughout the restaurant and a menu full of crepes, this has become one of my favorite spots. I had the Crêpe Omelêtte Du Fromage Supreme, which had egg & cheese, bell pepper, onion, tomato drizzled with white cheese sauce and sprinkled with bacon bits. It came with a sauce of salsa and sour cream, but honestly, this crepe did not need them. This was one of the best crepes I've had in the states and I wish I could have tried a sweet crepe but I was full! The next time I'm in Brooksville, I'm going back to try out the sweet crepes!

This place keeps getting better And better. I went in a few times now. New dining areas have opened and the decorations are amazing. I wish I had half her talent. The savory crepe choices have also multiplied but I like sweet, so I can't attest to their taste. The sweet crepes are so good. My friend had one suggestion in her crepe There were chocolate chips. She said it would be better with small mini choc chips.

I won't be returning. Blah food doesn't make up for a very hostile environment inside this place. Listening to employees and either a manager or owner talking about how Democrats need to leave the country, certainly did not make me feel safe there. I won't be coming back.

Wonderful experience, food and service. We will definitely be back and plan on bringing some friends this time
