I come here all the time when I'm near... Love this place. The food is so good... I can't put it into words. The service is the best. They are always extremely talkative, and I haven't met a rude server. I mean, I know most of the servers... As I said, I come all the time. Thanks for reading, and try it out if you're nearby!! Located in Valrico, FL, The Landing Bar and Grill is a charming sports bar perfect for weekend outings. Their Sunday Funday menu features a delicious shrimp po boy and mouthwatering pizza. The atmosphere is ideal for catching football games, complemented by a refreshing margarita. We sat outside on the patio, Lauren was our very patient server. She was great!We ordered Bills White Pizza, chicken tenders, and a Black & Blue burger with bacon and grilled onions...The pizza was very tasty... it's not a thin crust, but not thick either... there was butter and garlic on the crust( we were hesitant about this, but ordered it as it is on the menu... we usually like olive oil and garlic) but it turned out to be delicious. There was a perfect ratio of cheese and tomatoes, and it was served piping hot from the oven. We would have preferred slices of tomatoes rather than the diced tomatoes on it. The burger was served with very crispy, fresh, ruffled potato chips... it was huge! Cooked to perfection, medium rare... the toppings of crisp bacon, onions, and Bleu cheese were fantastic... the roll was a touch dry. The chicken tenders were lack luster... nothing to write home about...4 small tenders, fried in a basket with some sauce... We liked this place and will definitely go back!(We were so hungry, I only got a picture of pizza)

We used a Local Flavor coupon, which was a $30 coupon which we purchased for $15. On a Tuesday at 5:30, we were easily seated and Melanie was our server. I can't remember the last time we had service so good. She was attentive during our entire time there.This place was much larger than I expected and felt very clean. The menu was typical bar food with a few other entrees on for good measure. I settled on a chicken cheesesteak with fries, which was an up charge of $2. My food arrived steaming hot, which I love. The sandwich was so large that I cut it in thirds. I didn't care for the sandwich. Too many peppers, and not enough chicken. Disappointing.

Atmosphere - Great! The restaurant as a fun feel when you enter. It is basically a sports bar with large screen televisions throughout the restaurant. There is a bar in the middle with a combination of tables and booths inside. There also is a screened in patio dining area. It is pretty noisy inside as well. Service - Very good. Despite the recent reviews complaining about services. However, this was not my experience. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Food - Disappointing. Although I may have enjoyed my meal had I ordered something different, I went with traditional bar food. I ordered a baked onion soup and a cheeseburger with potato chips. As you can see in the picture, the soup was clearly left under the broiler way too long. The cheese was so burnt that the entire topping of cheese and breading was so hard that it was inedible. The broth was tasty and so had the topping not been so badly burnt it would have been a good soup. My cheeseburger was very dry, despite it being cooked to a medium temperature. Overall Value - The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is great. Assuming that I just had a one off bad experience with the meal I ordered, this could be a very good value.

Phenomenal wings, burger was massive and delicious, chicken quesadillas were tasty as heck. Friendly service. Only issue was the lemons in our water, which we mottled with black stuff- we switched to soda because the water tasted off. Otherwise a solid lunch - little pricy but I guess everything is a little pricy everywhere lately.

Food is so so bad. I'm pretty sure the people that own it live and the neighborhood behind it and that's why everyone gives them such good reviews. They can't even do fried chicken well. Even the bar food that should be safe isn't good.

Location makes me drop in. The food is not bad.The pricing is steep.The service on the outdoor patio is great if you're ordering drinks, otherwise prepare to be slow.The crowd is redneck and at times uneccessarily loud and obnoxious. You come here because there's few other nearby places to 'Land'. Drive a bit further and try somewhere else.

We had a beautiful lunch outside on a cloudy day at the landing. It was not so busy when we got there so we placed drink orders and got to look at the menu, we decided on blackened fish nuggets for an appetizer and a pizza for the main plus a grilled cheese for my son. The nuggets came out quickly which helped because our pizza and kids meals took almost 30min to get to our table. We did play with the jenga set they had outside in the mean time. When the pizza finally came out we were ready to eat it was good they do add a lot of cheese so if your any kind of lactose intolerant this isn't for you. The pepperonis are the crispy puffy kind which are so good! The grilled cheese and fries my son loves from here.

When you walk in and sit at the bar only to hear the bartender and a servicer bitching about other employees and then never greets you and just walks away, why would you want to eat here. What a disappointment needless to say we walked out. No one even noticed. We drove all the way over here from Riverview I don't think we will be back. So disappointing
