The Krispy Rooster

Stop at the food truck while at Dade City Brew House. Had their Honey Siracha Chicken n Waffle. It was very good and had sweetness with just enough heat.

After stalking this truck and menu for a couple of months I finally made it to a location to try them. I was so excited for this menu that I was afraid it wouldn't live up to my expectations. Well I can confirm the Krispy Rooster is no joke! One of the best food trucks I have eaten from. We ordered kids chicken and fries, sweet potato fries, Nashville hot & honey butter sriracha and the berry lemonade all which were amazing. The flavors were perfectly paired- right amount of heat & sweet. I can't wait to try the shrimp and grits and the peach offerings next. Only suggestions would be to somehow thin the marshmallow sauce for dipping the sweet potato fries and offering wet wipes. We will definitely be back and you should make it a priority to eat here!

I was blow away..This.may be the best friend chicken i have ever had..... Dont tell my Southern Wife but if you see this truck stop and get food it was simply amazing

food was good I guess but what wasn't good was the customer service. waited over 40 minutes at the zhills downtown Halloween event which was annoying but it's fine so we go up there and ask if it's done yet when it hit 40 minutes since a ton of people who ordered after us got their food before us and the guy at the register asked for the number and then said rudely "how you gonna come up here without a number and ask me if it's ready". Very rude and disgusting so we were the bigger person and kept our lips sealed and just got our food and walked away. Maybe they should tell you how long the average wait time is although that wasn't the biggest issue of course it was the rude attitude from the staff.

Absolutely AMAZING food!! The chicken was so juicy, well seasoned, and fried to perfection! The waffle was so fluffy and complimented the chicken perfectly. The shrimp and grits had the perfect amount of spice to them!

Needs to work on consistency...fruit not always ripe, chicken not always thick n juicy...last time we could taste the cleaners they use...(thank you for cleaning by the way) tip- after cleaning, cook some dishes for yourselves and taste them to be sure the cleaners are "cooked" off. Otherwise: it's a food truck, not a restaurant, what d'ya expect(?) Keep working at it though.
