GREEK FAMILY FOOD ADVENTURE!!!The Girls and I went looking for some Greek food closer to home. We found The Krazy Greek in Winter Haven and were excited. We ordered our favorites that we normally drive to Kissimmee for. There are allot of Mediterranean restaurants in Kissimmee that are or have traditional Greek foods!!!Our order consisted of two shareable appetizers and 2 Chicken Souvlaki Pita's and Dessert!!!The apps: we ordered the Greek Fries and Falafel. Both were sub par in taste. The fries were not what we expected. Normally they are fresh cut wedges from a potato and then baked with Greek herbs and parm cheese. These fries were frozen pre cut fries deep fried and then had herbs and parm thrown on top and tossed in a bowl with more added to the dish when plated. No one really enjoyed them. Tasted like what they were and the seasoning seemed like an after thought. Food to Value ratio = not worth it. I would not order againThe Falafel, which is my favorite thing to order was OK. The pitas seem to not be made in house. The Pita slices were hard and added nothing to the dish. The Falafel themselves were not that flavorful and at around 10$ for 6 not a Great Food to Value ratio. I would not order again!!!For the mains we got 2 chicken souvlaki pitas to share. Everything inside was really tasty the chicken was cooked perfectly and the fresh ingredients were a blessing Sooooo good. Everyone enjoyed the fillings. The only downfall, again, was the pita. I am not sure if they buy pitas in bulk then freeze/defrost them, but that's what they tasted like. Not fresh and hard. If they made pitas in house or didn't buy frozen ones/or freeze fresh ones them, if made in house. It would improve their food quality for their dishes for sure!!!Food to Value on the chicken souvlaki was good, the pita was the disappointing aspect that kept them from being a great value!!!For desert we got the staple of Baklava. I couldn't tell if this was a premade vendor purchase dessert or made in house, but it sure wasn't made on the day.The baklava was good, but basic in taste and the dough was not as flakey and light as a fresh batch would be. These should be made daily. They would create a better desert experience and a supply and demand for them as when they sell out of the fresh they would be out for the day. If the Baklava sells out daily, it would create a buzz for them in our area.Only Agape food truck is in our area once in a while for great Baklava. Check out my review of them!!!All in all 3 stars is b/c of the Fries, Pita and Baklava all can be improved. It would just take more time and love to prep, but it would be worth it!!!I don't know if we would return as we know we can get better fresh Greek food in Kissimmee. To us, that's worth the 20 more minutes in the car to get there!!!If we want a great chicken souvlaki platter we go to Big Tom's in WH as well. 11.99 and you get all the trimmings and the pitas are so good!!!Here it was like 17$ and after having the Krazy Greeks pitas we know it's not worth changing over for this platter/pita.AS ALWAYS TRY IT FOR YOURSELF!!!

This is a perfect family-friendly spot for dinner after a day at Legoland!PROS:Easy online ordering.Menu options for everyone. All food was fresh and excellent quality, from the grilled shrimp to the gyro, the salad; even the fried shrimp and chicken tenders the kids preferred were the "good" kind they actually enjoyed [after disappointing overly breaded theme-park concessions they'd been having all day]. Clean spacious bathroom.Friendly service.Offering unsweetened iced tea as fountain beverage.Covered outdoor seating available.CONS:Outdoor seating is right next to main road and there is no fence or border, had to be hyper-vigilant with young kids (owners if you see this: please gate this area! We want to come back every time we visit the park now, and we have to dine outside for an immunocompromised family member). Parking lot is weird. There are abundant spaces, but I'm sure fender-benders happen here (we just parked far to stay away from the bizarre middle row).Didn't like tomato in the rice; I was flavorful, just not the pilaf style I expected. Lots of other menu options though for next time!Wish they had an appetizer Spanakopita! As you can see these "cons" are mostly personal preference and easily overcome. Solidly four stars. We will be back!

It was our first time here. The burger tasted great, it had great flavor. My husband had the shish kebab platter he said the meat was tender and he really likes the Greek salad that came with it. He said it was one of the better shish kebabs that he has had. There was a lot of food. With one drink two meals and a small plate it cost us 53.00. We will definitely come back.

Went here for lunch and got the gyro. It was one of the best I had ever had. While was eating I was watching all the food coming out around me and all the meals looked amazing. One dish was a Greek salad with chicken which will probably be my next selection when I go back. The place is small but well worth your time to go have a meal here.

Have a jobsite close by and decided to try this place, service was friendly and efficient. They can work with food allergies, I ordered the salad with grilled chicken, the flavor was delish, fresh, crisp and filling. The others in my group also ordered salads (all different) and loved their food. I would certainly go back and try something else when I am in town. It was busy for lunch, decent amount of seating or grab it to go. All of the food that came out looked incredible for a fast food Greek place.

Delicious food, friendly staff and clean space. I was caught off guard with the bed of potato salad under the typical Greek salad. Other than that, will definitely return to try other dishes.

Picked up food to go and was left very impressed. The flavors are very authentic, I've tried many Greek places across the states and this one ranked at the top. The service at pickup was also good, although I didn't get the full dine in experience.Portion sizes are very filling. We got the lamb gyro platter, chicken souvlaki and baklava cheesecake. The chicken and lamb were seasoned and cooked perfectly, rice was tasty. Price is reasonable for the amount of food you get. Overall this is an excellent place to eat. Will come again.

My favorite greek restaurant for gyro plate! I order my regular gyro platter or the shrimp kabobs with rice pilaf and the greek salad.I am not sure if the gyro meat is fresh made in the house or not but they make it good. The rice pilaf is also delicious. The desserts use honey often and I ordered a custard dessert which was delicious. This place gets busy often - lots dine in. The dolmas are also delicious. Moist and tender stuffed grape leaves. I am a regular here!

My wife and I just had dinner at The Crazy Greek. We were satisfied and are certain to return. My wife had a big bowl of Greek lemon chicken soup (a special, not on the menu). I had the grilled shrimp pita and we shared a big Greek salad. The salad was big and well-dressed with lots of feta cheese, olives and hot peppers. We wound up taking half of the salad home.My wife was happy with the Greek chicken soup (I don't remember the Greek name for it). The soup and salad was more than a meal for her.I was also happy with the shrimp pita. There were more grilled shrimp in it than I would have expected. The place was a bit different from what I had expected. You place your order at a counter, then, when you order is ready, you pick it up yourself. The plastic utensils were dispensed by a machine, something that was new to me. The atmosphere was less like a more formal restaurant than I had expected, but we were okay with that change. There is no beer or liquor available. We will be back sometime.
