This was a $22 blackened grouper dinner entree' Where's the rest of the grouper?
Side salad looked great... tasted so bitter it was not edible. Also, no dressing...
$21.95 for this sorry piece of fish? That's the full meal!

Melissa and Blue provided friendly and professional service for my breakfast while I was getting my car fixed nearby. This restaurant is actually in a bowling alley but it's a separate room with its own diner vibe. My eggs over medium were perfect as were the grits. Coffee was bottomless along with a large to go cup so I was sufficiently caffeinated!Life is good with a nice breakfast and friendly service. I plan to return every time I take my car to Pat's nearby.

I'm going to give 2 stars & hope maybe I can change that in a future visit. My issue this evening is the saddest piece of grouper ever was $21.95. The side salad was so bitter we could not eat the salads... idk if it was washed in chemicals or what. No salad dressing for 2 salads. The menu says grouper comes with lemon & tarter sauce, I received none. I also added hot sauce to the order... we received none. The baked ziti was good. The salad again was not edible. The mashed potatoes were actually fresh & flavorful. They are real potato's. That was the best part of the meal.... Oh yeah... no lemons or sauce as advertised...

Ok had to get the skinny on this place. When we got there it's basically a diner inside the bowling alley. Sooo bright! Bring your sunglasses! You can sit in the bar and order in the diner part. Nice lighting in the bar BUT freezing cold. Ordered tacos and the nice guy behind the counter repeated the order like 3-4 times. Came out wrong but he was so nice not even considering that on the two stars. The tacos had tiny bits of hamburger absolutely no flavor. Mostly shredded cheese and lettuce and tomatoes. They charge $1 for a tiny sleeve of sour cream like you get mayo packets. Beer cold $3.50 during happy hour until 6pm and $4.50 after that. If the food and atmosphere was better I would have gladly given a better rating. I guess just not my cup of tea.

I've eaten here four or five times and always had a good meal. They're $5 Burger Monday dining only is a really good deal. So is the Taco Tuesday $5 for two tacos and they are good. Their food is fresh and service is quick . Plus it's cool you can get a drink at the bar at the bowling alley and bring it in to the restaurant no problem no worry.

Longtime patrons of The Chatterbox breakfasts, yesterday we decided to try the restaurant that has replaced it. Now known as The Kitchen, slightly remodeled, it was attractive, clean, well decorated, upgraded utensils (just my pet peeve, I hated the old cheap utensils used at the Chatterbox). There is a varied menu and daily specials. We tried the Monday special, a $5 burger, it was enormous and cooked perfectly. We ordered fries, not included with the burger, they were well worth the extra cost, crispy and abundant. And I must mention the friendly staff, our waitress Jennifer was the best! We definitely will return to The Kitchen.

The kitchen is very good. I've been going there since it opened and I have never had a bad meal there. From their breakfast to their dinners everything I've tasted is delicious. It's conveniently located but sometimes does get very busy because there's so many people enjoy it.

Friday 11/22/24 First and last time for us at this establishment. Access to the restaurant is thru the bowling Lanes which is separated from the lanes by a wall and door. Thus allows food to be brought to bowlers.From the time our order was taken until we received our food a full hour had passed. We asked 3 times if our food was coming soon and we were told shortly by our server each time. She also stated that our order had to be prepared again because when our order was done, it had been given to an Uber Eats driver When our food did come out, the onion rings had a fish taste, apparently they were fried in the same grease that the fish was fried in Yes restaurants get busy but this place was NOT that busy or prepared to handle minimal quantities of diners.Although our server was apologetic, this is definitely NOT an acceptable way to run an establishment. NO compensation for inadequacy or incompatence from the kitchen/counter area was made by the establishment for their mistakes or poor service.
