I'm requesting a response back from the owner and the manager, both. I and a friend of mine had a huge, extremely uncalled for and completely disrespectful encounter with the first guy working the door, checking ID's on Saturday night, December 28th. I'm sure his head is shaved. I come in there from time to time, with a few different friends. They're all just friends of mine, nothing else. But that shouldn't matter at all. Sometimes it's even a group of us. The guy told my friend to take his beanie off. (it's a new rule apparently) My friend was embarrassed and didn't want to take his beanie off because he's uncomfortable about his hair. I had made a little joke, saying he has a receding hairline. He should let him keep it on. (My friend thought it was funny) Once my friend took off his hat, the guy looked at me, then looked at my friend, told my friend that he should just shave the whole thing off. After my friend and I left the door area, the first door guy with the shaved head yelled to my friend, telling him his hair really looks fine. That I'm just a HUSSY and he should look for a different girl!!! I yelled back to him saying, "I'm not his girlfriend! We're just friends! And I'm not a hussy!!" There's two ID checkers andhe was the very first one to go through. I'm absolutely appalled by what this guy thinks is ok to shout at people! To insult people? To insult me because I'm in there with a friend. That guy totally disrespected me. Where does he get off thinking it's ok to be disrespectful and rude to people? Especially those who are coming into your establishment to spend money, along with wanting to have a good time with friends! People who come into your establishment, spend money. Lots of money. That pays everyone, along with making money for the establishment and keep it up and running! My friend and I left to go spend our money elsewhere. My group of friends that we come in with, may never step foot into your establishment again! All because some door guy thinks it's perfectly fine to be a douche and insult patrons coming into to The Kangaroo establishment to have a good time! This is a small town and we know lots of people all around. People you'd be surprised we know in our town. Word gets around quick. With an employee treating people like this, will bring your establishment down quick. I'm requesting and expecting an email back from both, the owner and the manager. This matter needs to be dealt with, ASAP. Word gets around really quickly. Your door guy shouldn't be insulting, disrespectful, or rude to anyone. I will make sure people know how your door guy treats people coming into your establishment. Being a door guy, doesn't give him permission to be a disrespectful douche to your patrons, to whom you depend on to keep your establishment open!

I recently moved to the area with my boyfriend and was that they have line dancing ok some days during the week. The first day we went (last Thursday) turned out to be a non line dancing day but we still had an absolute blast. The bartender, Dylan was so kind and attentive and informed us that dancing was on Tuesdays and Fridays. So we returned the next day and he remembered us! Always love when small places remember you. The vibe was fantastic although it is much more crowded on the weekend than during the week. We returned again on a Tuesday as the regular dance instructor, Kate, was going to be there and had the pleasure of having Jess (the manager) as our bartender and she was awesome! I love that I can come here and feel safe and everyone is so kind and welcoming. I'd definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in the area. Each night offers something new and Ness really makes sure there is something for everyone. Can't wait to come back!

Totes adorbs bar that had to open with what they had. No food, no draught, no restroom signage...no problem... yes it's country themed! Live music, weekends get a DJ. It can get a little hairy on the weekends with line dancing and what not. Super clean with an atm front and center! More of the weekday type, it's a very chill place. The earlier the better! Hope they figure out that food and restroom signage, then they are legit!

First time there. Enjoying Chasco Fiesta. We r locals and with the many retirees here we enjoy going out often but spending our money wisely. Most restaurants in town charge 4-5.00 for a house liquor. The same for a house wine. The house brand is always a cheaper price than top shelf. A better price for retirees or anyone on a budget. We sat and asked our server for the house wine and house rum and coke. 3 each. When we received our bill it only showed a total amount of 42. And change! It was not itemized. When we questioned the high bill and asked for an itemized bill the waitress seemed surprised and then said sorry we r only serving top shelf today. Not mentioned when we asked for the house brands...Sounds more like we and others r taken advantage of by slipping you a total amount bill rather than itemized hoping you won't question it and just pay a higher price unknowingly Too bad that is a shady practice. Nice atmosphere just need to be up front with customers and charge correctly not dubiously.

Heard this place was the place to go if you enjoy country music and line dancing. It took an hour for us to realize it wasn't what we were looking for. Not much of a dance floor, minimal country music, and it was the first country bar I've experienced that didn't have a good selection of bourbons. Ordered an old fashion and was told I don't want it because they had minimal ingredients. Got a bourbon on the rocks served in a plastic cup. Won't be returning. On the bright side it was clean.

There's so many bars downtown, go there! Staff is rude, and the drinks are overpriced.

Way too over crowded and the only place downtown that feels the need for security guards. That doesn't seem like the type of crowd I want to visit. There are so many other options next door and within walking distance.

I was going to go in for my first time but the security guard at the back with the bandana was so rude I decided not to go in. When he was patting me down I joked "make sure you check the cheeks". To which he replied "keep talking like that and you can get the F*** out" which he said excessively aggressive. I then said that I was just kidding to which he replied "Yeah well I f***ing wasn't". it was very off putting because the people before and after me he was smiling at and talking to. I am a super kind and peaceful person and I was just trying to give him a laugh while he was working but he made me not want to even go in.
