A gem in the neighborhood and always buzzing every night of the day. There is a huge open air patio for people to sit and enjoy the weather. The vibe is very southern, service is friendly, and the food is spectacular if you love seafood and comfort food.They have specials every night and the flavors are authentically Cajun/Deep South. The chowder is a highlight, as is the haddock stuffed with crab baked with buttery cracker crumble. I loved the grilled salmon over greens (ask for dressing on the side), it was a simple and healthy option. Hush puppies and sweet potato fries are delicious sides! The atmosphere is great for a night out and most tables will likely be filled. There is generally live music or karaoke night to add to the fun!Beware of the kitties in the lot and neighborhood, they'll definitely want your leftovers!

The food was very good! I loved sitting out on the patio enjoying the weather and they also have guard cats that roam the property and keep rodents away. LOVE that they come in to the customers to say hello!I had fish fry and it was really delicious. Service was friendly and quick as well.

So happy to find a place that serves whole belly clams! I ordered the dinner with a baked potato and baked beans. The baked beans did not have any meat in them, just onions. Perfect! They served a good portion of clams. Only a couple of pieces were chewy. Yes, they were well-breaded, but they were fried perfectly and the breading was good. The market price for the dinner was $28.99. Those clams are always pricey, but worth it. Hubby ordered the all-you-can-eat Basa. Perfectly fried and generous portions. He got it with French fries and cole slaw. All were tasty. Our server, Elaine, was as sweet as can be. Very attentive and friendly. We came in on a Friday at 2pm and the service was fast. The other servers were also nice. Although it was a bit chilly, we sat in the huge covered porch area. Lots of seating and plenty of fresh air. It started getting busier around 3:00. FYI: they serve Pepsi products. Oh well, no one's perfect - lol. This restaurant is close to home and the food was great. We'll definitely be back!

Wow this place is amazing. Get the swamp platter ! Everyone loved their food, best plantains and best hushpuppies and frog legs.

A friend recommended we stop at the great catch restaurant while visiting Zephyrhills. It is a very casual, throwback to Old Florida setting. We loved it. We ordered a cup of clam chowder to start the meal with and it was one of the best clam chowders we've ever eaten anyway. Frankly, we were pleasantly shocked. The coconut shrimp, slaw and fries along with their fish and chips special were very good also. Our server was very pleasant and helpful. Definitely a return if back in that area again.

This is classic, down-home country fried seafood at its finest! Every time I come here, I feel right at home. The portions are incredibly generous, and the prices are unbeatable for the amount of food you get. The servers are so kind and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The restaurant itself has such a cozy and inviting atmosphere--it's the perfect spot for a comforting, delicious meal!

Always packed on Sundays, live music around 4 pm, food is good I have tried their kickin shrimps and their blackened fish. Their large beers are always cold which is good. Their parking lot could be just enough for the amount of people that goesThere but there's enough space across the street where you can park safely too.

We went for our anniversary dinner with a party of 10 friends, we called ahead and made reservations, which is a great idea if you have more than a couple, because there were people waiting as we arrived at 4 pm. The service was great we had an amazing waitress. The food was very good and the dessert selection is very good also. Overall it's a very good place to have dinner, they also had live music. We dined on the porch an it was very comfortable with the fans blowing.

My family and I had been craving good seafood for a few days and we had heard about The Great Catch a few times so we decided to check it out on a Sunday afternoon. The environment was super cool- casual outdoor dining (with some indoor and bar seating as well), someone was singing live country music (he was great but the music a little too loud so it was hard to talk to people next to me and across the table), and the food and drinks were great. It did take us a while to get our food and the appetizer we ordered never showed up (we did ask for it once our food came out and they brought it out as we were finishing our food, but we were still charged for it...), but the great service, delicious food and drinks made up for it. I definitely recommend their piña colada, their coconut shrimp and their hush puppies!
