The Freezer Tiki Bar

Wow! We first saw this place on a instagram review. Yelp backed up what they said. So we had to come! It's a hole in the wall dive bar restaurant. Which we love!They were out of smoked mullet dip, which I really wanted, but the smoked salmon dip was amazing too! It came with a healthy portion of dip and a full sleeve of saltine crackers. The real star of the show here it's the shrimp go ahead and order double butter, double cocktail . It was some of if not the best shrimp I've ever eaten in my life, even my buddy who doesn't really care for shrimp tore his tray up!Service is great, you order at the bar for all food and they will bring it to your table .Absolutely phenomenal seafood right on the water. I highly recommend the drive to come here!

Shrimp are excellent. Chowder delicious in the bread bowl. Lined are long some times.

Went today for a late lunch around 3, while it wasn't jam packed it was still pretty busy. Given how cold today was we sat indoors which was perfect with the heaters. Today we had a full order of steamed shrimp, an order of steamed clams and a blue moon. The shrimp was excellent as always. The clams were nice to have something different. They were steamed with garlic butter and came with a piece of toast. We will be back soon.

I could not believe how rudely I was treated when I waited in line for 15 minutes to get a bottle of water and never got it, so went out to my truck to get a bottle of water and attempted to bring it in was told I could not bring it in. I was very professional did not get upset. I said look. I waited in line to get water and never got one. I then waited in the parking lot for 45 minutes for the rest of our 30+ party to get done. I have spent over $1200 in this place within the last four months. Our party there that afternoon had over 30 people. The service is great. The food is fantastic and the ambience is very entertaining, but the management treated a veteran so rudely that I cannot consider going back. If you're a veteran or anyone, do not attempt to bring a bottle of water in. I did see a few flasks being passed around...must be friends of manager, lol. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING. What a shame, the food is freaking awesome. Wait staff, great! Managers, not so much.

One of a kind seafood restaurant with massive portions, and ambiance like none other.

Another great visit to the freezer. A chilly day so we sat inside and they had the heat lamps going. We come here for the steamed shrimp and it didn't disappoint!Don't forget this place is cash only!

I will start with the food was excellent, but it was my first time going there. I was treated so rudely at the counter. I had asked a couple of questions because I've never been there and the man who was taking my order walked away from me and was pissed off so much so that he didn't want to answer anything. I ordered the stone crabs he messed up my order. I had two of my friends standing next to me. Who also heard me ask for Stone crabs. He gave me snow crabs. He was so rude threw them back at me and said there was nothing he can do that he was right I was wrong even though my two friends were standing there telling him that I had ordered stone crabs because that's all I had talked about. I will never go back there I spent so much money and he ruined my day by being so disgusting and so rude.

Great atmosphere.Super prices (deinks and food) and choices.The food was fantastic.Off the beaten path.We will keep this as a go to!

Excellent steamed shrimp and cheap drinks! What more could you want? Quite busy at lunch so come around 11:30.

One of our favorite places for steamed shrimp. People rave about the mullet dip but I am not a fan of mullet so I can't judge. Eat inside or out by the water sitting under tiki huts. Very enjoyable!!
