TLDR: BEST strawberry shortcake- seriously. Not much produce left when we came around 1pm on Saturday, so maybe try for early morning. Wow okay, the best strawberry shortcake I've tried. This was a stop on the strawberry passport, and I'm SO GLAD we weren't strawberried out yet because this place is incredible! The berries are fresh, the cake is so moist, and the whipped cream tastes so lovely and homemade. Yumyumyum! (Around $6 for a shortcake, huge portion). As for the market, there wasn't really anything left at 1pm. Didn't seem like there was as much of a selection as Parksdale or as big. Worth going for the shortcake alone though!

Stop 6 on our strawberry pass. This was a first time and we are so happy we came here. I would have not heard about this farm until the pass. This was our fave strawberry shortcake. It cost $6 and a dollar more for ice cream. We had a BOGO and they split the ice cream btw the two. This was quite different than Parkesdale. No idea why but it was just so much tastier. More strawberries, more syrup, not dry. So fresh. It's a good size farm of strawberries and then a farmhouse with picnic tables, produce and inside a shop with a menu for sandwiches and drinks and strawberry goodies! Also Keel Winery is like 5 from here for so definitely go to both.

I LOVE the Farmhouse at Gillman Farms! It is a friendly atmosphere where families come together to eat, shop, and hang out. Great menu for lunch or dinner, lots of dessert and produce choices and the Strawberry shortcake is top notch! My favorite lunch is the Steak Nachos! A bed of Old Florida tortilla chips, steak, peppers, onions, cheese topped with sour cream and salsa! So good!

What a great friendly place to buy produce. We spoke to the gentleman who has farmed here his entire life. The produce was displayed nicely and well marked with prices. They have some out and some in coolers. Inside they have more produce and local jams and sauces along with honey. The ladies were fixing strawberry pies and cookies. We will be back. We purchased4 small strawberry onions 1$ eachAvocados 3 for 3$zucchini 50 cents eachyellow squash 3$ a small basketlocal honey 11$
