The Dunedin Smokehouse

I always wanted to try this place and after my Sister and I read the menue we had to try the food here.First off the Hostess Maggie and Isabel were extreamly friendly and gracious, added to the fact that they both were wearing high top Converse which reminded me all the cool people in the East Village of my hometown NYC.Our waitress Emily was Fantastic and gave such amazing recommendations that of course we all took her advice.And everything was to perfection.The Best brisket that I've ever had and in NYC there's so many top notch delis.The brisket was very delicious and as requested hardly any fat.The garlic mashed potatoes were to die for as well.A creamy flavor and mouth watering.By 7pm there was a talented duo serenading every from the stage outside.This is a must destination for all my future Florida trip's and my new favorite place in Dunedin.

Always a good option when we are in Dunedin, even though I'm trying to be good and eat more salads for a while. It still counts as a salad if it has pulled chicken and pork belly, right? Service was efficient, and the ambience is nice, both inside and out.

This place is on the super cute Main St of Dunedin. It was good but lacks a little flavor in the meat, for the ribs. Side dishes were normal and good but nothing amazing. The sausage was a great addition. I would go again when in the area. Service was great. Server stayed on top of drinks while we dined outside.

After a 2 and half hour round of disc golf in Clearwater, I was looking for 2 things out of a BBQ joint in the region: fresh-brewed sweet tea and if they were open on a Tuesday. After some investigation, Dunedin Smokehouse was the winner and it was a terrific find in a neighborhood with many other restaurants. I sat myself at the bar and was greeted by the bartender. I asked if she had fresh-brewed sweet tea and it did not fail as I gulped down 4 glasses of this sweet liquid gold.I went with the Porker Combo which is the 3 meat combo. I chose pulled pork and ribs and brisket for a $1.50 upcharge. I went with potato salad and beans for my sides.The ribs were amazing as they were St. Louis style, sticky, and the best part...I had to eat them with a fork! The pulled pork was tender and almost as good as the ribs. The pulled pork came with some kind of relish. The brisket was tender and better than many briskets I have had.The beans and potato salad were both made in house. The beans had a tomatoey smoky flavor. I never had a potato salad like this one! It was chunky with some kind of creamy conglomeration. I thought it was celery in it but turned out it was bell pepper, which was acceptable.There were 2 sauces on the table - a sweet sauce and an ancho mild pepper sauce. They also have other sauces you will have to ask for - a thick South Carolina Mustard that is close to a honey Mustard, a spicy ancho, and a White Alabama which was my favorite of the bunch.I will eat here again and you should too!

Four lovely ladies met for lunch at the smokehouse. It was a beautiful day after all the cold so we sat outside at a table in the sun. Everyone ordered something different and delicious. We all enjoyed our food. The service was on the slow side so we had plenty of time to converse and to enjoy watching the many dogs at the patio as well as all the people walking by.

The dining experience, from the excellent service provided by Adam, the really delicious food (everything was excellent), to the wonderful music provided by "Hold A Grunge" their renditions of Pearl Jam's songs were off the hook, made this dinner out a superlative evening... We stopped in on a Saturday night and the only available table was on the patio, but that worked fine for us as it was a beautiful evening, and they had the heaters going, so it was great. Our server Adam, was there immediately, and we got in our drink orders. He came back quickly with those and we got in our food orders. The food came out quickly as well. I got the Brisket Sandwich - nicely smoke meat, with horseradish and a soft bun. I opted for the spicier sauce, and it came in a cup in my basket. The beans were also smoky, meaty, and tasty! My wife got the chili, which was pretty tasty. It wasn't a huge bowl, but was chunky with a bit of a zing. VERY dog friendly patio--many there the night we dined. Adam was fantastic-attentive, funny, and friendly. Solid good, great atmosphere, and fantastic service.

Nice atmosphere with both inside and outside seating. They oftent have a live band playing in the evening. The waitstaff is okay. I got a full rack of ribs with potato salad and jalapeños cornbread. The cornbread was really good as was the potato salad. The ribs however were a big disappointment!

The food here is very good! This is a very busy place. Lots of outdoor seating. BBQ is very good. Cocktails were just . Service was very good-our server was knowledgeable and attentive. The ambiance is loud and busy.

Thank you Smokehouse for hosting my husband's, Todd Edwards birthday!Finally I was able to surprise him. The bartender, Pamela, and owners, Marti and Tracy, were rockstars with helping me plan the menu and making sure everyone had a great time.
