The Dude and His Food

Should have read the reviews first, rookie mistake. The Philly is 80% bread (at least the one I got) Very little meat on this, feel like there is more cheese than meat. Bread is hard and stale. Almost like I am eating a loaf of bread that sat out all night. If I didn't pay $13 for this I would not have eaten it. There were only a few other options so I decided to go with what I know. Figured if you are selling a Philly out of a truck it has to be good. I've had better phillys from a gas station. Disappointed.

Best food truck, ever! They were at Gasparilla Pirate fest Sat and "prime rib sandwich" caught my hungry eye. They had variations too! I had the gyro style. Delicious prime rib, piled high on a bun my bun connoisseur husband even said was perfect, loaded with feta cheese, totally hit the spot. Also, it was insane how fast they were turning around orders, I'm talking 2 minutes! Anytime we see this food truck, we are stopping!

prime rib looks more like ground beef. Not seasoned well at all, if at all. Just got the prime rib over fries and it was horrible. Threw it out after a few bites. They are currently at TGH! So to all my fellow TGH employees, DON'T DO IT!!! 6/23/23...I had to come back on here and say that this meal got me sick! Stomach was bubbling and spent quite a while in the bathroom. This Dude knows his food is of poor quality and the prime rib is ground beef.

I ran into this food truck with my hubby while at the Snow Place Like Tarpon Springs Xmas festival. My hubby decided to try their Prime Rib Philly Steak. It was $8 and it said it came with the beef, onion and creamy cheese on a hoagie bun. He got his with no onion.I tried a bite of it, and ehh, it wasn't my thing. The cheese was gooey cheese wiz or something. It wasn't appetizing to me. The meat looked like ground beef and again not appealing to me. I didn't even go for a second bite. That's how unappealing it was. Maybe other options were better, but meh, I will skip them next time.

EXCELLENT!!!! The Buffalo chicken was amazing and ordering was super easy. a GREAT experience!

While this wasn't horrible, I was a little offended that they called this a Cheesesteak. It was literally ground beef. Pretty weird. I have NEVER ordered a cheesesteak (and I have had PLENTY at different places) and been served ground beef. Also, while it had a lot of melted cheese ON TOP, the sandwich/meat was rather dry for a cheesesteak. If you know your cheesesteaks, you know what I mean. I really wanted to like it but unfortunately they missed the mark for me on this one. The good things about it was that they did stuff it with meat and cheese and the price was reasonable at $8 but it was NOT a Philly cheesesteak by any means.

Went to a food truck Rally today and The Dude and his Food was one of several food trucks we had the choice of selectiong. They all looked good. But, I like to go for unique names, so I picked this truck. Not disappointed!! Philly cheese steak was served fresh and hot. I will track this DUDE down again!

I paid $12 for unseasoned luke- precooked chicken "Philly" on a supermarket roll. Also, they were out of grilled onions - the only topping on the sandwich aside from flavorless white "cheese" and they didn't tell me before I ordered. I should have guessed this place sucked when I was the only person getting food there. AVOID THIS TRUCK

Tiny sandwiches for the price. Bread was stale. They park there truck in front of our building so I tried it. Should have gone to Charlie's

Food was amazing. They were at our community center for the fall festival. We got the philly cheesesteak and fries. So flavorful!!
