Went here for lunch today with a local club - there were 40 of us! The staff did an AMAZING job of getting everyone's orders, drinks, meals and checks. Huge shout out to Audra and Cassandra for their excellent service!!This was my first time here and the food was excellent - almost everything is made from scratch, including their ranch dressing (yummy). If you aren't using Waze or Google, you need to know it's off of 44 back behind the Dollar General. There's no sign at the turn, but there is a big billboard a bit before the turn. It's a fun vibe with lots of memorabilia on the walls and good music playing. They have indoor and outdoor seating and a large selection of food options: wings, burgers, tacos, quesadillas, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. Plus a full bar.I had the mushroom swiss burger with a side salad. They also have gluten free buns - and they are good buns, not dry like a lot of gluten free bread. The burgers are really good - flame grilled, not greasy. One of the better burgers I've had in quite some time. My husband had the taco salad and it was large and full of good stuff - tomatoes, lettuce, cheese. It came with ranch dressing, sour cream and salsa. The shell was nicely crispy - he really enjoyed it. We also got a Roadhouse burger to go - cheeseburger with bacon and BBQ sauce and a side of smashed potatoes. My daughter really liked both.I'd definitely would go back here again.

A true Floridian experience! None of this polished postmodern art deco crap you see from chain restaurants and bars with a bunch of TVs on the wall. Here you get an honest Florida experience, in all its glory and flaws. The Cove pub and grub restaurant is a little hard to find place with good food and even better people. Our server was Jennifer who is the sweetest thing side of the Mississippi! I got the chicken bacon ranch wrapwith cove fries, and can wholeheartedly recommend both. Note that this is NOT a Michelin star dining experience, nor should you consider it for a romantic first date. (Unless the two of you are just chill as hell to begin with.) Extra points for air boat parking outside!

So we are staying in their little cabin "love shack" tonight and I will review that separately but it is super cute! So we decided to try the restaurant. I wanted to give them 3.5 stars but that's not an option. I know it's essentially a campground. I don't mind the plastic baskets w paper for most meals but i'm not really a fan of the plastic flatware. Prices are reasonable -so I can overlook that. Service is attentive and food is lower pub food. I say "Lower" as there isn't much past burgers/sandwiches and appetizers/salad. An entree or two would've been nice. It's still good, tho. Like others have said, the alcoholic drinks are a light pour -at best. I ordered a tall double vodka soda. It literally didn't taste like there was anything in there at all. At that point, I changed over to wine cuz drink prices for light drinks is never fun. Overall, it's a pretty nice place, tho. Fun atmosphere. House made chips are really great. I only wish they served breakfast. The Resort doesn't have a separate listing from the restaurant so here is my review on the cabin: We stayed in the "Love Shack" for 2 nights. I wanted to give them 4 stars because the decor and construction were well done. The maid needs to step up her game a bit, however. When we arrived at night everything looked great! In the morning light, however I noticed soap scum all around the bathroom faucet and a black speck of dirt really stands out on a white countertop. The furniture is all 19 century antiques. Simply Lovely. The armoire is especially beautiful. The bed did creek a bit when we got into it -but that is to be expected w antiques. I fear the pillow shams are not washed with the rest of the bedding, as I slept on one and my sensitive skin got a pimple on my face. The TV worked great and a nice assortment of channels but we weren't able to watch Monday night football so you'll need to hang in the bar for that. There is NO WiFi in this area but the cabin has pretty good WiFi so that was pretty helpful. There is a Keurig in the kitchen - which I know most people love but I'm a fan of Dunkin and it's right down the street. So we drank our coffee on the deck and enjoyed the lovely landscaping. Overall, a very nice place. Just disappointed in the maid. We paid a $40 cleaning fee on top of our rate and she didn't even make our bed on day two. We still enjoyed it, however and would likely come back.

Found this place looking for somewhere to meet half way... definitely a hot spot as there was a wait list inside and out. Service was great and the menu was varied so there was something for everyone. Mahi tacos were excellent with large portions of fresh fish. The homemade chips were fantastic thick and crispy! It was interesting that this is on a camp ground site.

The food, the service, the atmosphere all of it was good. The menu hilarious and well done. Haven't left many reviews lately but I believe this place deserved a positive one. If you're in the area check it out!

Took a trip to this out of the way restaurant behind the Dollar General store at about 5 PM on a Friday for or fish fix. Renee , our server was training a new gal so we had double speed service. Our friend grouper sandwich was very tasty with chips home made on the side. The fish and chips had a small and large option with the difference being one more fish portion. Giving three fillets deep fried. They were a bit oily this time, I suspect having the oil not quite hot enough but the balance of our food and service were great. When we left. All tables appeared filled and patrons eating and enjoying the food

The Cove Pub and Grub is tucked away off the main highway. It's easy to miss if you don't know where tolook. I went with a group of eight people. We had called in a reservation ... upon arrival we were seated immediately and a server took our drink orders, Service was fast and friendly. Burgers seem to be a specialty. My selection was a "BIG ASS BURGER." Someone in the group ordered the "HALF ASS BURGER" saying that the size didn't seem to be very different. I asked for well done fries and they were well ... done. The serving size was good no one left hungry. We all enjoyed our meals and agreed that this was a location worth returning to.

Excellent service, constantly offered new drinks. Wait time on the food was a bit long but I'm sure it was just because it was quite a large party. I had ordered chicken breasts and they were pretty dry, well flavored just dry. Other than that, great time!
