Went here after attending an event downtown. Service was professional and kind but slow with less half of the restaurant seated . Food was absolutely terrible. The burger tasted like frozen paddy and fries tasted like have been sitting an open bag of a freezer for years. Would not recommend.

Stopped here while attending the Lakeland Saturday market. Seated right away. Servers were good. All helped to refill drinks.We got several different burgers and they were good. I got the popper and the cream cheese popper sauce was very good. We also had a blue suede which was good. Super tall with the onion rings. Also had a bandito. Be prepared to shower afterwards as that one is messy. All the burgers were good size and tasty. Fries were average.Inside is fun with lots of memorabilia on the walls. They have a pool table and plenty of room for groups. Worth a try while in Lakeland.

My husband and I love a good burger and we found a GREAT burger here!You can chose your burger temperature which a lot of places have taken away- The service was fantastic. The music and style of the restaurant was super fun.There are a TON of food choices here so stop by and check the Chop Shop out!

Chop shop was around the corner from the hotel where I was staying. I was the only person inside when I stopped in for lunch. Jamie my waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered the shroom burger and added bacon. I like that they cook the burger to your temp preference. I ordered it medium well and it was cooked perfectly. The burger was juicy and full of flavor. The burgers are served with a side of fries that are seasoned with salt & pepper. I will definitely be back.

Went to this place on a limb after my original plans got canceled, and I'm so so glad I did!I had the bleu cheese burger with fries. 10/10. The burger was literally one of the best burgers I've ever had from a restaurant. The fries were crispy, and even better with honey mustard.The customer service was great! They were super sweet and got us everything we needed :)The place is decorated nice as well. Very old timey diner vibes

It has been a few years since I last visited the Chop Shop. This burger joint is located in the heart of downtown Lakeland and offers a creative selection of burgers and sandwiches. My favorite is the Blue Suede Burger which I ordered earlier today for lunch. A soft bun was filled with a juicy medium rare beef patty, creamy flavorful blue cheese, a large crispy onion ring, crisp lettuce, juicy tomato, and tangy pickles. The side of tots were nicely crisp, salty, and soft on the inside. A glass of on tap Coppertail Free Dive went nicely with the burger. Overall, this is a quality stop for delicious burgers.

We did not have to wait to sit down on a Sunday. They have a pretty good menu for burgers with a lot of different options. They also have quite a few shake options that will fit just about anyone. The chocolate strawberry shake was delicious. We tried the BAD (Breakfast all day) burger and it was cooked perfectly. The bacon each cheese fries were very good as well. I highly recommend starting with that. I was not impressed with the chicken taco salad. The chicken was cut too large and the lettuce was not shredded so it was hard to eat. However, the mexi ranch was delicious. I would definitely go back for the burgers. The service was quite slow once we sat down but the did have a sign up that they were looking for cooks.

Excellent service and a friendly staff. We were greeted. Sat within 2 min. Large party of six. Milkshakes are awesome. Plenty of flavors. The Mango and the M and M were awesome. The pub pretzel appetizer and the fried pickles are great. If you like an egg on your burger the BAD burger is great.

I actually stumbled upon this place is search of black beans and rice, but the restaurant I went to was way to fancy for my liking. So I popped into the chop shop and I'm glad I did. They have the best onion rings I have ever had and the bandito burger was great too.

Went in on a Saturday at 2 pm to order a couple of burgers. Never been before. After waiting 15 minutes to order, told that the kitchen was closed, as they were overwhelmed with orders. Their hours posted online showed them closing at 9pm. I've not seen a kitchen close 6 hours early unless there was a hurricane. Bummer...
