service was very good, quick we were in and out in under 40 minutes. It a great home feel, home cook meal and ambiance makes you feel your at your friends southern grandma's house. Today's prices it's $15 per person which I guess in 2025 is comparable to a sit down restaurant. Don't get me wrong you're getting real ingredients like the eggs, beacon, biscuit and gravy. However, you are paying for it. It is in my humble opinion that it's still worth it! Especially when you're not in the mood to make your Breakfast.

Drove by many times and it has always been crowded, decided to stop after a mid morning appointment and it was wide open. We sat outside with a nice breeze to enjoy. The food came quickly and it was hot with enough to fill you up. Everything was delicious and the chicken fried steak was crispy on the outside and moist inside. The fried potatoes were well seasoned along with some awesome French toast. A return trip will be put on the books.

The Breakfast Nook is a family friendly diner-type of restaurant. They have great food and great service! They have delicious coffee, the bacon and eggs were perfectly cooked, the home fries were nicely seasoned and the biscuit was soft and fluffy. There's plenty of parking and seating indoors or outside. The reason I took off a star is because they put an extra charge on the bill for using a credit card and didn't say a word about it.

This place was just what me and my pups needed. The staff was amazing. Our waitress was very kind to us after the worst week ever (Helene). A much needed haven. The food was great. They had water dishes for the dogs. They let you sit outside with your pets. Cute interior. Rustic and inspiring.

People kept raving about this place so we went. There's nothing special about this place. It's just sad because there's nothing else around the area. One big tip - stick with breakfast food. Husband had the breakfast sandwich which he liked but my daughter had a junior burger which was lackluster. My fish sandwich seemed fresh but bland and only if you love onions like I do they give you lots of it at least. It's a great homey atmosphere but honestly the food isn't impressive.

An enjoyable café style restaurant for a casual breakfast or lunch. There is outdoor seating, which would be nice in the cooler months. I had the stuffed French toast which was delicious and my husband had a nice egg white omelet. There were several items on the menu which looked good and it was hard to choose. Service was friendly and attentive. The décor is country shabby chic, and the restaurant was clean.

7/1/24 - Came with a friend for lunch. At 12:45 I was a bit surprised it wasn't busier and we took a table at the window. Servers seemed busy cleaning up tables but we were acknowledged a few minutes later and it wasn't long before our server, Lacey came with menus and a bubbly personality. She took our beverage order and said she'd give us a few minutes to decide. Shortly after the beverage order arrived, Lacey returned to take questions and orders. I selected the chicken salad melt on rye, grilled, and with a side of the bean soup, which also had sausage in it. I thought it great but others might not like the surprise. My friend ordered one of the omelets and a side (huge) of home fries. I finished everything on my plate. My friend accepted the box offered and took the rest of hers home. We liked that it was quiet so we didn't feel that we had to shout to have a conversion. In many indoor restaurants that's a problem. There is a nice size out door area, but for us in a Tampa summer it's too hot, humid or rainy. I've been back a few times since my 1st review and it is always very consistent. I feel welcome here.

The ambiance was nice for a Monday. The place was busy. The menu prices have went up, but food is really delicious and you know this place rocks !!! The ladies ( servers ) work hard and they provide awesome service. The food comes out hott and smells great !!! I always come here when I am on vacay and stop for a quick bite. This place is a hidden gem !!! Alot of tampians know of this place and give it a big thumbs up !!! My kids love this place too, since they grew up here in Tampa. If you want a hearty meal , come here, and enjoy !!!!

This little breakfast and lunch restaurant has both indoor seating as well as an abundance of outdoor seating. Dogs are are allowed on the outdoor lawn area (Rock and pavered area with tables with umbrellas.) The servers have all been excellent. They know the menu, are very helpful, and they hustle to keep hot coffee and food on your table.Most importantly, the food is always very good. We love their peach streusel pancakes and French toast and blueberry pancakes. In fact, I have no photos because everyone eats their food too quickly.And these days people need to know how much their food is going to cost. As far as breakfast and lunch, I find the Breakfast Nook to be very reasonably priced. It's a great place and has become one of our regular places.

Wow cannot believe how far this place has fallen off. I just sat at a table for 12 minutes with not a single person saying a word. They are not even busy. I'm sure it would have been good but there are so many other ways to waste my time such as writing this review.
