The Brass Monkey

My friends are in town from Texas and we wanted to see each other. We decided to go over to Pass-A-Grille and have dinner. I got the appetizer stuffed mushrooms with lump crab meat and it was very good with the squeeze of lemon. My lemon pepper grouper sandwich was tasty. Nice views of the beach. You do have to climb the stairs to get to the restaurant. There is an elevator but you have to call the phone number and make sure someone opens the door for you. The staff is good. Go check out Brass Monkey and then, head to the beach.

Kind of divey, but their crab cakes hit the mark! No fillers - all crab. Nice views of the ocean - We have gone a couple times - table service was meh, but bartender was way better - personable and attentive. If you love all things Maryland (and especially the Ravens) - and you love a good crab cake - GO!

I'm born and raised in Maryland so I had high hopes for this place. Unfortunately it was disappointing.We went upstairs and were seated immediately outside. Great views of the beach.Our waitress was young and not friendly. She seemed rushed whenever she stopped by and like we were a bother almost. She would sometimes walk by without checking on our drinks. I was curious about the crab dip. I had seen several pictures online and was not sure if it came with crackers or bread or what kind of crackers. When I asked our waitress what kind of crackers, her reply was "round." I wasn't sure if it came with wheat, butter, poppyseed, or another kind. So round was not the answer I was looking for given I didn't ask what shape. The crab dip was mediocre at best. Very little crab in the dip. Would definitely not come back or ever recommend.

The food is HORRIBLE and it's just dirty. The bottle beer was warm and had that well water smell or dirty dish rag smell.Service was okayGorgeous view

Yum!! We were brought here by very good friends on a quick weekend trip. Excellent ambiance! We were out on the patio. It was breezy, but warm. We started with a seafood pretzel, wow. Amazing! Recommend! Had a Brass Monkey (their signature drink) Yum! I had a bowl of mussels, my bride had a chicken salad wrap, our friends had the seafood chowder and a batch of wings. ALL enjoyed their food.We had more drinks too - the Black Cherry Drop, the Black & Tan tini and a Winger's sunset. All were excellent!!! IF when we are in the area will definitely visit again!!!!

First time here. Cool little place. Ordered the veggie wrap. Presentation a C but the flavor an A. Great flavor and veggies were all nice and crunchy. Service was friendly and helpful. The place is nothing to write home about but if you are in the area nice lunch spot

Lunch with a view. Great views for your dining pleasure. Menu was nothing unique, typical beach fare. We had the chicken wrap and a grouper sandwich. The food came out fresh and hot as ordered. Flavor was just fine. Service friendly. $$

Soooo not an issue with the restaurant itself but... 20-30 minutes for water in 80+ degree heat. Everything took ages and we were this waitresses only table in sight. To describe said waitress: VERY very orange skin and bleach blonde with migrating lip filler. Absolutely the worst service all around. 20/10 would not recommend. Oh and my friend asked for this waitresses name and she passive aggressively responded "what are your guys' names?!"

The view is amazing if you sit outside during sunset. The food is subpar but as expected from a beach bar. The burger was okay but the mac and cheese bites were delish. My friend got the chicken salad wrap and it was actually very good. Our server was rude though, i would give it a 3/5 if she didnt slam the door on me when I was walking through. I would return to drink and for apps but not for a meal. The dirty monkey was the best alcoholic drink I've ever had and it was strong.

Just wandering around on a drive down the coast highway and decided to go straight on to Pass-A-Grill. The outside deck overlooked the Gulf of America. Glad we did. Stopped for lunch and just happened to pop into The Brass Monkey and said "look - Ravens carpet!" It is a Baltimore bar in Florida. Great welcome and service throughout our lunch. I started with Monkey Balls - 4 little crab balls and a delish sauce. Also so so Old Bay Wings. Perfectly done really tasty and perfect amount of the Maryland classic spice. We had a Buffalo Chicken Wrap, not too spicy and the chicken salad was great. Had a great Black Cherry Drop Martin, Pomegranate Sunset Martini and a wonderful Bloody Mary with Montreal Steak season rim. If you get lost on Pass-A-Grille Gulf Way stop in and enjoy. Great place.
