The Biscuit Barn

Food was so good! Biscuits were top notch! Staff was super friendly. Definitely a do over when we visit Crystal River again!

Excellent food. That's why it's packed all the time. Be patient for seating.My first cup of decaf was old and cold, but the fresh pot was delicious. The breakfast steak was amazing. Done perfectly. The hashbrowns tasted like rancid oil. The servers are warm, but it's a bit cold in there. Bring a sweater.

It's December. It's time to go swim with manatees, paddle a kayak, do all the outdoor things. But first, we need to start off with a hearty breakfast. Enter the Biscuit Barn. This small diner off of the main drag in Crystal River is unassuming, parking lot full of palm trees and rusty nautical things, and it just feels like the diner you want- big counter as soon as you walk in, and little added-on dining rooms full of Formica-topped tables and sliding chairs. Brewed drip coffee kicks it off for us, but there's orange juice and stuff like that, too. But what we came for: biscuits. There are biscuits everywhere on the menu, as sides, as entrees. Want a simple breakfast before your manatee swim? Try the "Rope," a smothered biscuit with eggs and more. There are a few other interesting breakfast goodies, like a pot roast hash (I got a smothered biscuit on the side), and your standard combos of breakfast meats and eggs (with biscuits).This place is friendly, easy to get to, and serves up starchy comfort food that can't be beat. If you're in Crystal River for the breakfast meal, you should give it a go.

Great breakfast spot in Crystal River. Had to do the Biscuits and gravy with my eggs. Simple, but excellent. My buddy Bobby B. had a huge omelet. Two coffees and on our way to Gainesville. Perfect!

What a cute place. People were friendly and the food was excellent. Try the pancakes! They were yummy!

When in the south, biscuits and gravy are a must have... Where better to have some at, other than a place called the Biscuit Barn?!? I came in and was immediately greeted and sat at nice booth in the corner. The staff was amazingly nice, friendly, and service couldn't be better - especially from my server, Ashley! Personally, I loved the home feel of the decor, very Americana. I ended up getting "The Basic" which is egg and cheese on a biscuit, and then "smothered" it... it was incredible! DELICIOUS. Highly, highly tecommend

As far as breakfeast goes ya cant go wrong. No big wait. Food fresh steak and eggs on point.

Excellent place for breakfast, many options from eggs Benedict, crab cake Benedict to breakfast combos either your choice of eggs, meats and potatoes or grits. Let's not forget the giant fluffy biscuits including savory or the sweet American Pie biscuit.We have crab cake Benedict, American pie biscuit, eggs, waffles, bacon and hash browns. Cleaned our plates! Everything cooked perfectly and served up fast. Servers are friendly and attentive. Restaurant is cozy and gives off a down home family vibe. Recommend if you want breakfast or brunch but get there before 2 cause you'll miss out!
