The Bacon Boss HQ

Just wanted to give a shout out. My son loves this place so he wanted to grab a grilled cheese for lunch on his birthday and of course I had the Fat Tony lol! Food is always great and so is the service.

I was out for lunch, and wanted to try someplace new. Found Bacon Boss with a search, and figured Bacon is ALWAYS good, right? Drove up... and went in. Service was great... lady behind the counter was on top of it. Ordered the Mafioso Patty Melt and got a bottled coke also. They delivered my food to the table I was sitting at, and checked on me a couple of times to make sure I did not need anything... as mentioned, great service.Sandwich was COOKED... patty was well done. Sauce was minimal. Patty Melt was dry, and meh... would not order again.There was someone smoking a stinky cigar somewhere close... think it may be been somebody sitting in the bacon boss food truck which was nearby. That did not make for a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, you always have entitled cretins that don't care about others! Bad thing about places like this (Krate is a food truck collection) since there is a cigar truck nearby also.

Very tasty lunch! I had the signature Mafioso Patty Melt which is a bacon infused burger inside a grilled cheese topped with bacon, grilled onions, and house bbq mayo. This was very fun and yum! My only complaint was the burger patty itself was overworked so the patty was stiff if you know what I mean. My daughter wanted a plain hotdog which surprisingly they do NOT have on the kids menu (hello! Please add!) but I managed to manufacturer one by ordering a Mac n cheese dog with everything on the side (bacon and Mac) and adding ketchup mustard and pickles so she was happy. There's no way to say inside so grab a table outside or get to go. I would definitely eat here again!

Saturday 9/14/2024I was the krate area after finishing up an event at the nearby movie theatre and I wanted some food. I searched for the best food near me (on google & yelp) and this spot stood out so I went.I made a takeout order online for the mafioso burger $12, brisket Mac $13, and fries $4.29. Good thing I ordered ahead online because once I was there for pick up they had ran out of their Mac n cheese items.- the mafioso burger (aka patty melt) was solid but none crazy. My cousin got it as well and he really enjoyed it so there's that.- The brisket Mac was decent: the Mac n cheese itself was pretty mediocre but the addition of having the brisket,bacon, and their sweet heat bbq sauce was what made it.- The fries were average and the sauce that was with it was solid.Overall, this spot wasn't anything really impressive to me but it was cool. I can definitely see other people enjoying this spot way more than I did.

A bit unclean . Didn't order after seeing the place . Smelled really good though . Just not for me .

Located in the krate, this place is amazing!!! Food was so good, service was quick and fresh and it's a nice place to have lunch outside! Will definitely be back when in town!

Stopped in on a Friday afternoon and I was extremely happy with my food. The Nicky Santoro Spicy Burger will definitely be one that I think about and crave regularly. I love mango + spice and I've never had that combo on a burger. It was well balanced and if the description/ingredients appeal to you, then you will definitely love this burger. The fries were pretty good, and they were made excellent with their house "fry sauce". My only complaint was that I didn't ask for extra of that sauce because it was everything I want in a fry sauce. Sorry for the half eaten food picture, I wasn't even thinking to review this place because it was a post-work-meeting quick lunch, but I HAD to get a picture when I realized how delicious everything was. Also, the server was super friendly, the food was very quick, and I wish I had time to actually explore the area, because Krate seemed like a really cool place overall. It was hot outside, but that's Florida for ya'

Came here while passing through Wesley Chapel. Had heard about it and was in the mood for a burger. I got the Costelo burger and the wife got the John Gadhe burger. We got them as a combo which is the best way to go financially. The burger was good not great but good. I guess my biggest issue was the lack luster bacon. I like thick cut quality bacon. I felt this bacon was thin and almost tasteless. With a name like Bacon Boss I guess my expectations were higher than I received. The bun was also just ok. I did enjoy the gander cut fries and the seltzer water that I got with the meal. I may come back but now understand what level of burger they offer. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the ambiance was casual and clean.

Got the Gotti! $17.50 for the burger/fry/drink combo seemed a bit steep. Got it to go and the Styrofoam box was covered in grease. Burger was tasty but was sloppily thrown together and didnt look/taste artisan, and that's what I'd expect @ that price. Good enough, but probably wouldn't return.

I was strolling around when I spotted this resturant. Immediatly, it caught my attention. It was very unique and very detailed. The food was great and for 16 dollars, was excellent value. It is mafia themed which I found quite amusing, and the stuff was very nice. I would climb a mountain to go there. If you are ever in Wesley Chapel and your craving a burger, go here.
