The Avenue DTSP

This restaurant/bar has great daily specials and happy hours. I have been here many times for their happy hours with half off apps or $3 taco Tuesdays. Another night they offer half off burgers. The value is great and the food is much better than bar food. Tonight, I had two tacos (Carne asada and carnitas) with a tall boy Corona for $9. Hard to beat that. The atmosphere is great to watch a game. There are many TVs everywhere.

I was looking for a place to watch the ufc ppv fight and boxing. Literally on the same night. I went to the bar next door but I was told that The Avenue would be showing the fight. So I walked over to the place instead. This place was nice. Patio seating, inside bar and another hideaway bar in the bar with an additional patio area. I was able to snag a seat at a shared table with others right by one of many TVs. This is definitely my kind of place. The drinks were on point and they were moderately priced. They even had a full food menu to order from. This place was definitely a hit. I've been looking for a sports bar that checks major boxes on my list and this place did just that. I would recommend and I will certainly be back!

Good place to grab a quick drink and burger. Service was quick, and we were able to have a few drinks because we went earlier in the day and sat at the bar since it wasn't crowded. Bar vibes, so dim lighting and music playing. Reminds me of when I would go to brothers in college and get a burger and drinks with friends.

Listen I needed more food after getting jipped at another restaurant!! But that's a review for another time! I'm not gonna lie I was just trying to be basic and order a side of fried but the waitress got me to try their tacos and I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED! They were juicy, delicious and had me licking my lips wanting more. PAUSE... The server was cool and super friendly and helpful tbh. She also had me trying a beer I never had before. The vibe of the place is definitely sports bar which was perfect since Im a sports fan. All in all it was a great experience!

The Avenue is right in the heart of downtown Saint Pete! A great location where you can drink outside in the back or the front, with a very open vibe to it. Unfortunately, since Covid, I feel like they are very short staffed and very slow with getting either drinks or food to you. I have ate here several times in the last couple years and that has been my experience. The food is always good though! They have a bunch of TVs too so if you're looking for a sporting event they have you covered. Service: 6.3Food: 8.5Scale system 10/10 would be what I want for my last meal9.9-9.3 driving out of my way to get this9.2-8.0 like the place and would go back 7.9-7.0 I would come here again if it were presented and don't have anything bad to say6.9 and below - thanks but no thanks after try one

We happened upon this place while exploring downtown and are glad we did. The service was excellent and the food and drink specials were great. While we were there in season, the bartender informed us the specials got even better during off-season. We definitely look forward to coming back as we only had the wings this time and the burgers coming out of the kitchen looked great. The only reason I docked them a star is the limited bathroom availability in relation to the number of people they can serve. I can see this being an issue when the place is packed.

Perfect place for Sunday lunch before watching a couple games with friends! I wish they had more brunch offerings but the food we order was really good. Our server was attentive and helped our whole party as we trickled in. Extra points for all the fsu decor! Will definitely keep it in mind for next college football season.

Haven't been here in a really long time and they enticed me back with a bogo for a burger so here we are. Energetic vibe with a dj on this Sunday. Great sitting outside in the great Florida weatherGrabbed some fried pickles to start. Breading was ok but the pickles were really good. I had the DTSP burger. Great taste and cooked medium with fresh fixings. The tots were spot on. Deb had the Firecracker. Tasty but it had lots of raw jalapeños so be ready for that.A solid burger spot

There were literally 2 people in the restaurant when we sat down. Our waitress brought us water and never returned.
