The actual name of this listing is The Attic at Rock Brothers. It is the musical venue located above my favorite drinking establishment in Ybor, Rock Brothers. The venue seems to book a few acts a week. You can go online, purchase tickets, and pick your actual seat - they sell seats by the table. We were at Table 20 for The Verve Pipe, and it was a four-top, in the 3rd row of tables, on the side, with an excellent view of the stage.Sadly, they do NOT offer their fabulous cocktails upstairs here, even though there is a bar. If you want to drink something stellar, you will need to walk yourself back down the two flights of stairs, and get it yourself.Instead, they have instructions on each table of how to order a standard cocktail on-line; you choose your basic booze, then your basic mixer, and a cocktail server will bring it out to you and take your credit card. Efficient, but very boring. The venue is small, but the sound was good, with the exception of the two magpies behind me screaming and nattering the whole time. Why go to a concert if you're just going to talk through the entire thing? But I digress....This is a wonderful venue to go see some surprisingly good artists, and I highly recommend a visit.

We had a great time! We came in for the first time to see Edwin McCain (my favorite ) and had an amazing time! I've seen Edwin 7 other times in different venues and this was my favorite! Small intimate setting, comfortable seats and a table for 4, and a great view of the stage. We sat in table 14 (3rd row) and it was great. You can text your server your drink order and they bring it to you. Service was fast! We will definitely be back.

I've been here 3 times now for live music. The decor is cool and I love the exposed brick and hard wood floors. Most of the tables have decent views except the front side tables that are partially blocked by a curtain.I love the artists I've seen here & think the Attic has a great line up schedule. So why only 3 stars?First and the biggest issue for me is that you can hear the music especially the bass from the downstairs bar! When the musician sent the band on break & did a solo set it was especially annoying to hear boom boom in the background. Even the artist commented on it. By the way when I went downstairs to use the bathroom there were all of 2 people at the bar this Sunday night. Turn the music down please.2nd chatty people!! It would be great if staff would ask people to keep it down. I spent my money on a ticket to hear the artist not them relentlessly yak!3rd the beer, I'm sorry but lately the beer here tastes flat to me and it's pricey to not enjoy it!All in all an awesome venue that with a little tweaking could be a 5 Star establishment!

The Attic is located above Rock Brothers Brewing in Ybor off 15th Street and 8th Avenue. It's a great space for shows, small but not too small. We came here last night to see Davina and the Vagabonds, who were absolutely fantastic. This show was set up with about 30 tables, with 4 seats at each. I was four rows back, but had an excellent view and still felt so close. I can see how it could get a bit cramped if every seat is occupied - all the tables and chairs are kind of clumped together, but it really enhances that intimate feeling of the space...in a good way. At least it did last night, can't say for other shows.Anyhow, the front door man was friendly and informative, answering our questions patiently. There's a small bar with cocktails and 5 taps for draft beer. The restroom is located downstairs by the main bar, which is a little inconvenient, but not terrible. They utilize an app called for ordering drinks from the bartender so you don't have to get up and disrupt the show. The waiter will bring the drink right to your table. I didn't try it, but it's an available option. I think this is a great venue and I look forward to seeing another show there.

The Attic is a small, but extremely cool venue in Ybor City. I attended two shows here. One was in a seated configuration, while the other was standing room only. I prefer sitting when possible, so I preferred the former, but the latter was also a very nice experience. It's an intimate room with character and good sound, and if I find myself back in Tampa, I will gladly return.

Two words: WiFi WaiterThe Attic has upgraded from texting your drink orders to the bar (which was already awesome), to a WiFi network that redirects you to their ordering system with a full menu. It's a little buggy, but I love this concept since the order confirmation page ensures you provide all the info the bar needs to deliver your order to your table. When the waiter arrives, you can close out or start a tab. The space itself is very intimate and loft-like. Decent sound for musical performances. I just wish the only restrooms weren't on the first floor, but it's got a great location with plenty of street and parking lots nearby.

We had a private birthday party at The Attic. It was an amazing night. The space was perfect for our bands and 100 guests. The staff were professional, courteous and completely on top of every detail. I didn't have to micro-manage them. Highly recommend! A+ experience.

I really like this place! I visited for a private party and really liked the ambiance. The venue has two entrances - through Rock Brothers (a bar) to an elevator or at door near the street corner. Upon entry the space I was reminded of venues I've visited in New York and Washington DC. There are metal stairs leading to the second floor along with a beautiful chandelier in the midst of the brick walls. There is one bar which is ideal for the size of the space, a wood dance floor and a raised platform for a DJ. My least favorite thing is that the restrooms are located downstairs.

Great cocktails and atmosphere. Bartenders are attentive and quick. I had a vodka cocktail with espresso that was delish and my date had the drink with tobacco, amaze!

The cutest little hidden gem right in the middle of downtown. Really good food, reasonably priced. I love sitting outside and looking out on the city.
