Great dive bar. Just what you expect. Would return. Good service and good drinks. Indoor and outdoor seating.

Anchor bar is always great food and a great time. We have come for breakfast and lunch and for drinks.

I would highly recommend the Fresh sweet potato fries with cinnamon sugar and the fried hotdog wrapped with bacon topped with jalapeño cream cheese

I've been here a number of times...I generally get a pint or few...But on my most recent visit, a few weeks ago, I had the wings! I had heard the wings here are great and just wasn't eating but this time - I got 'em - BBQ Hoison flavor - and they were delish! My picture does NOT do them justice!I met up with a few folks I had met that day - regulars here...I also knew a couple previously so it made for an easy "know your name" kind of place...It's a very lively spot for watching games inside or even at the little outdoor area sectioned off at the entrance.Local island folks generally here. It gets a little nutty at times, but it's fun. And now I know it's got also great food! I'll continue to make my way to the Anchor from time to time...

Anchor chips are outstanding but get the Anchor sauce on the side. Epitome of a hole in the wall with lots of local D-Islanders but a great vibe.

Anchor Bar is a great dive bar that has exceptional bar food and a great atmosphere. The staff is always nice, and they have plenty of TVs so you can watch or request any game 10/10

Food is about $16 a person Burgers are excellent. Nacho burger, mushroom Swiss, hangover are my favs. Flat bread pizza is very good. BLT has a lot of bacon. It's good. Tater tots with chili and cheese is a great choice. Drink prices are average outside of happy hour. Happy hour choices are good. 11-7 I believe. Bar gets busy and crowded weekends and some weeknights. Staff is very cordial. Which is most important besides good food. Minus one star because the bathroom situation is a nuisance. One bathroom and it got dirty pretty quick.

The crispiest bacon I've ever had...ordered the BLT, which was excellent. Perhaps they deep fry the bacon to get it so crispy...yum! Great beer selection and the burgers looked good...next time will try a bacon cheeseburger.

There's something about a huge messy bacon cheeseburger with crispy bacon that makes everything OK, all the way from being up late working the night before, catching a flight on a little over 3 hours of sleep and a jobsite meeting. At my urging, I ended up here with two coworkers, since besides having burgers Anchor Bar is close to our project site.Located on Davis Island's restaurant row on Davis Boulevard, The Anchor Bar is perfectly divey, with a smattering of bar neon, TV's showing sports and a mixed crowd of people living the good life and those of sneaking a taste on our lunch hour. Background 90s alt rock rounded up the scene.Full Disclosure: our crowd skipped on the alcohol since there were reports to write and continuing education seminars to attend. But the food and service was top notch! Although I went for "Medium Well", my burger patty was perfectly juicy, the greens tasted pretty fresh and the melted American cheese just enough. I also loved their sweet BBQ sauce. Perfectly crispy bacon and a sunny side up fried egg rounded my burger, and sweet potato fries made my side dish fancy.
