I have wanted to try Thai Mama for a long time... finally made it by. Picked up some Tom Kha Gai (Coconut Curry Chicken Soup) for dinner. It was delicious! Heat level at medium was perfect.

Thanks Ryan for recommending this very tiny, very delicious and very humble hidden gem! I can't say I'm an expert in Thai food having only been to Bangkok for two days. But, I can say this is the best tasting and least expensive Thai food we've ever had in the US!You can't eat in since there are no tables! No problem! To go it is!The assortment of soups and dishes my wonderful wife ordered for us were very flavorful and sweat inducing! They were just medium heat!My pineapple fried rice was incredibly flavored and the Pad Thai was easily the most fragrant, flavorful and satisfying I've ever had in the Tampa area. Thanks Thai Mama who personally whipped up our taste sensations! Will try calling ahead nice time! Life is good with amazing Thai!

I am going to preface this review with the fact that I have never eaten at the actual site. I've only ever ordered via Uber Eats, so that should tell you something. I eat a LOT of Thai. It's probably my favorite Asian cuisine. Ever since Thai Terrace shut down during the pandemic, I have been on the hunt to find a place that was as good as they were. I'm happy to say that this little gem has made the cut for me. Despite only ever ordering via UE, the food always arrives steaming hot. I can't imagine how fresh and delicious it would be if I went in person. I typically get the Panang and Pad Thai, then switch up my third dish. Sometimes it's Tom Kha Kai, sometimes crab rangoons, sometimes larb moo, sometimes mango sticky rice. But ALWAYS Panang and Pad Thai. The Pad Thai has the perfect balance of tangy and flavorful. Tons of juice (which is perfect for reheating leftovers). The Panang is so spicy and creamy and just delicious. I usually get a medium spice level and it makes my lips burn and my nose run, but YUM. The crab rangoons have a bit of curry in them, which is always the type I crave, the mango sticky rice is always fresh, the Tom kha soup is my favorite of everything. Tonight I tried the spicy larb moo, and even though it had way too much cilantro (thanks soap gene), it was ALMOST like the one I used to get at Thai Terrace. I will definitely order it again. Pricing is a bit high but I'm not sure if it's because of the markup Uber Eats charges, or just the fact that it's Thai food. I usually pay around $50 for two mains and an appetizer/dessert/soup. I oreder at least once per week. Worth every penny!

Sorry to say but there was not much flavor to the drunken noodles or the basil fries rice.

This was highly rated here on Yelp, so I figured I couldn't go wrong. But unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. My husband had chicken pad thai and the noodles were overcooked and mushy. The overall flavor was "off." I tried the Yum Nua (beef salad) and it was a huge disappointment. Reading the menu, everything sounds so tasty, but that's not what we got. The beef in my Yum Nua was a light grey-brown...like when meat is defrosted in the microwave too long. It's like it was just cooked some way but not truly browned. To top off the displeasing visual, it also tasted like the beef was old and/or the worst quality ever. With today's high prices in general, it becomes extremely frustrating to spend your money on food that is awful. I would have returned this food, but I didn't want to deal with the traffic, I was exhausted and hungry, and I have a post-surgery husband to care for.

It's places like this that still give me hope in cooking from the heart. Everything about this food was amazing. You can tell that they really do care when it comes to cooking some great Thai food. Service was quick and the ambience is perfect because you put in the order and you grab and go. Cute little spot in a plaza. Really felt like a home cooking and I would definitely come here again and again for some great home cooking. This place is a hidden gem

I just love Thai food, this place was recommended by my professor and so I finally gave them a try. I wasnt really impressed with it. I have had better Thai food. I had their Pad See Eew medium spicy and I think it was alright. nothing wow. I may or may not return. I called it my order and by the time I got there it was ready. I think they use to have a food truck but now its a restaurant with plenty of parking which is nice

The papaya salad craving hit so I stopped here to get some. I love that they can give you any spice level you want - sometimes papaya salad is too spicy for me to eat, and they were able to make it for me with no spice which was great. The gentleman who took my order was very nice and I'd say it took about 10 minutes during a slower time of day (made fresh to order). While you're over here, be sure to stop at Thinh An Kitchen (literally the next shopping strip over) - grab a bag of shrimp chips (white round crackers) which you'll find under the counter by the summer rolls - these go particularly well with the papaya salad!

Good but not great Thai food. I have only ordered via Uber Eats. I always get the chicken Pad See-Ew mild but for me always comes spicier (compared to other Thai places). Portions are large, enough for lunch and dinner. I like the chicken, broccoli, carrots, noodles, egg and sauce that comes with it. I would pass on the crab rangoon as I did not enjoy this, and it also had Curry in it, the smell and small size of each. I would also pass on the steamed dumplings as I did not enjoy them either. (I normally get both at Chinese and Japanese restaurants to compare, which these were worse than other places). Stick with the noodle dishes. Give them a try.
