I have lived in New Port Richey for 25 years. Thirteen years after my first review of Thai Hoa Oriental Market and they are still good.I am 1/4th Chinese. They are Vietnamese. They make it bearable for me to get my Asian food supplies in New Port Richey. If it wasn't for them I would have to drive all the way to Tampa for my authentic Asian ingredients. Thank you to them for still staying open and for being nice to me whenever I shop in their wonderful store.

This Vietnamese grocery store is small but not tiny, the shelves are filled with many varieties of products, well organized and reasonably priced, and the friendly owners are happy to help you find the things you need. They also have plenty of veggies too. Needless to say, this store cannot compare to the huge Asian markets in larger cities, but I think all locals are appreciative of the fact that Thai Hoa is here, so they don't have to make a trip to Tampa.

Small store; but excellent service as always. Definitely the kind of local economy we should all support.

We went looking some fresh veggies and spices, they had everything we needed and then some. Fresh vegetables, spices, sauces, and exotic proteins. The staff was friendly and willing to answer questions. I am looking forward to the next trip.

Who knew when tumeric became a household word, it would become impossible to locate. This Chinese market is as authentic as it gets in the US. Located off 19, heading towards Tarpon, it is on the West side of the road. From the outside, it looks like it could be anything, except a chineese grocery. They have a huge assortment of foods, spices, condiments, cookware....you name it. The Matcha tea I have been looking for, several kinds. Tumeric, oh yeah, as well as other dried, fresh & frozen herbs. This shop is a cornucopia of most all your Chinese cooking needs. The owners are very helpful. I have a vague idea what I want & they can put it together for me. This is a little gem, hiding out in New Port Richey. I was amazed this city had such a grea & authentic specialty store. What's a girl to do? When you move, ask where to find specialty stores & items.

Weekly trip for their roast pork buns. We also like their chow fun and wonton noodles, veggies, and not having to travel far for Asian groceries.

A hidden gem ... definitely check out this place!! The husband and wife owners are extremely helpful. They offer lots of Asian cuisine ingredients and condiments you may not find at your local Publix or Wynn Dixies (FL). They offer some meat but no fresh seafood unfortunately.
