Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club

This is a good course to get out and hit some balls and enjoy the sunshine.Some pros and cons.Pros:Convenient location, easy access with plenty of parking on one of the oldest courses in the area.Carts were in good shape, ride quiet and smooth.I was paired up with 3 young guys that were fun to play with. We kept a good pace and never caught the group in front of us or delayed the group behind us.Water coolers are available at a few holes. They come in handy during the dreadful heated months we have here.Good putting green to practice on prior to starting your round.Cons:No beverage cart throughout the round. Make sure you bring or get some beverages at the turn and beginning of your round.No driving range, there is a netted area to hit your irons off the first tee box.Greens were fast and bumpy.

If I could rate this a 0 star I would! Understandably during COVID businesses are trying their best to stay afloat, but $65+ for 18 holes and a cart is not worth my money or time to play here. The fairways (if you can even call them that) are patchy and look like they haven't seen a mower in a few days. The pace of play is very slow! The greens are in excellent shape and the carts are newer and nicer but that's about the only two good things from this course. I would recommend finding a different course to play if you're actually trying to enjoy your round of golf.

Food is delicious, golf course is nice and a great value. We also enjoy the pool area!

I will have to say, the TT Country Club has really stepped up their game! We had the Special tonight Steak au poivre! Wow.. mouth watering served with sautéed zucchini & squash along with red smashed potatoes! Thank you to our server Tia and Chef Johnny! Fantastic

This course is undergoing renovation, but they have not adjusted their fees accordingly. They are way overpriced at $60, so they are using the unsuspecting golfing public to help finance the work. Even when it is in fair shape it is overpriced. This is one I might not play for free.

Amazing. Incredibly cheap and good. I'm talking 4.95 all you can eat breakfast buffet, $1 Yuenglings, $3 double vodka tonics, poolside buffet with a short order grill. There are three areas that increase in formality; pool, lounge and dining room, but none are country club snootfests. The eponymous club sandwich is the best I've ever eaten. Dues are low and you don't have to live in the neighborhood to be a member. There are many awesome things about this place. For instance, if you arrive in a golf cart, the bar will give you a to go cup for your drink. The restrooms have combs in barbacide, grooming products and Listerine. Classy.

Great greens and solid upkeep everywhere else on the course. I would say for an average golfer this is a wonderful course to play. The only reason I give 4 stars is because there is no starter or direction of how to get around the course. Members of the course aren't the friendliest towards a random single like myself.

Course was great. Greens were in good condition but slower than I prefer. Jeff in the pro shop was unnecessarily rude. He sent two fivesomes out in front of my group of three and said "this is a members course, don't expect to play a 4-1/2 hour round here" in a very unprofessional manor after I had asked why he sent them off in front of us. If it's a members course and you're going to treat public play poorly, you shouldn't have gone semi private. May or may not return.

Just read that someone said the food was "horrible at best". I don't know what they ate, but it must have been a really off day. My wife and I live in Temple terrace and we eat there a couple times a month. On a bad day it is good and it's really good most of the time. The staff is awesome...always friendly and attentive. They often have specials that are really really good.

My wife and I had lunch with our friends who are club members . We had sandwiches , fish , onion straws and flatbread and it was all delicious. The atmosphere is great and the wait staff was top notch! If presented the opportunity take the chance. You won't be disappointed.
