Excellent no frills diner was on the agenda for lunch today. I went with the tuna melt and fries which was excellent. The fries were a golden crisp which is my favorite way to eat them. Service was friendly and fast. If you are in the area, check them out. They also serve breakfast and the menu looks wonderful!

Small and cozy diner luncheonette that is filled with regulars. We had an hour free so as we drive by we dud a quick u-turn and stopped in for breakfast. Had eggs, pancakes, sausage, ham plus an order of biscuits and gravy. Service was quick and friendly and everything was cooked to perfection. My wife like over medium with barely any runny yoke and this is the first restaurant to get it exactly correct in years. We will most definitely make this a regular stop and looking forward to trying lunch as well. Only minor issue was a preference for ham steak vs ham sandwich type sliced ham so will switch to sausage patty that my wife dad. Overall they made two new fans.

We went to Ted's Luncheonette for a brunch with my wife and my mom. We had the eggs omelette and an eggs Benedict with a couple of coffees. The service was very friendly, the food was delicious, and we highly recommend it. This spot is great for anybody looking for a brunch place in Largo or Clearwater Florida. We highly recommend it!

Another typical small diner filled with locals. Ted's hashbrowns are actually small spicy potatoes, but his bacon is nice and crispy and there was NO GREASE which is unusual for a small diner. Small tomato juice, spicy hash browns, and 3 strips of bacon total $8.24. + $2.00 tip.

Had an hour before an appointment and decided to stop and eat breakfast. Mine came with a choice of 2 eggs, choice of 2 sausage or bacon or ham and 2 pancakes. I'm picky with my eggs, like them between over medium and over hard. She suggested over medium well and they were cooked perfectly. Ordered a side of biscuits and sausage gravy. Everything was very good but felt the gravy needed a little more flavor but still good and creamy. Everyone very friendly, speaks to you when you enter. Our server was friendly and good. Great little local place for breakfast and lunch. Reminds me of the mom and pop places so few & far between. Plan on going back to try the burgers. Almost forgot the prices are very reasonable, a lot less than the chain restaurants.

A little hidden gem located in the Clearwater- Largo area. Good quality food, well portion and always tastes great. Breakfast lunch, both outstanding and served daily. A few of the other neighboring places must have forget to put meat in their sandwiches when I tried them out, absolutely not this place.

A Classic, but MediocreTed's has been around for many, many years. I've been there for lunch lots of times. But this was my first breakfast visit. And it will probably be my last. Ted's has classic diner atmosphere--worn around the edges with little attempt at modernization. The sense seems to be "it's good enough". Prices are fair.Service, unfortunately, was poor. It was busy, but there seemed to be plenty of servers. Mine just didn't like to go out into the dining area. I had to ask other servers for coffee, a to-go box, a check... The food was a mixed bag. The eggs were fine and the biscuit was good. The normal ham that comes with the plate is thin deli ham, according to the waitress, so I upgraded to the ham steak and it was good. It should have had a better sear on it, but it was nice nevertheless. The grits were poor--OK on the consistency, but bland. Salt, pepper and butter helped a bit. The French toast had collapsed into a mass and was more like bread pudding. I took most of it home and toasted it to give some crunch. If you want classic diner, Ted's is your place. But I suggest that you go for lunch.

Food and service are excellent. Prices are reasonable. My wife loves the veggie omelet, and I love the Philly Cheese steak, chicken parm sub, hash and poached eggs
