First, the views are awesome, although it does surprise me that the restaurant faces the city and not out to the water. Our server was super nice and was prompt with everything and checked on us often. The menu has a nice variety of choices. I settled on the seasonal soup and the sesame crusted salmon for my entree. The soup was delivered nice and hot, but I will say it wasn't attractive at all. Fortunately the taste was really good and I would get it again. It was a chicken tortilla type soup but it was green, which was different for me. My salmon was presented well. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the pineapple fried rice was excellent. I do think that there was an excessive amount of sesame seeds on the salmon. Overall, great experience and I would return.

Teak sits on the 3rd floor of the St. Pete Pier. We had quite a long walk to the restaurant as we could not find parking closer. Keep in mind shuttle service is offered at certain points along the way. We happen to pick a very busy holiday weekend so we ended up getting our exercise in. What awaits you once you arrive are floor to ceiling windows with breathtaking views of the bay. It is absolutely beautiful. The interior is lovely too. We were seated immediately with a reservation for lunch. Service was good as the waitstaff staff was extremely attentive. We started off with the popcorn coconut shrimp which was OK, however not a re-order. We also ordered the fish spread for the table. It was quite heavy on the mayo and not a reorder either. For lunch we ordered a grouper sandwich which was just OK. I believe the bread to fish ratio was off. One person got a breakfast, which was fine. My daughter got the fish and chips which she seemed to enjoy. I ordered the Cobb salad with grouper, which was OK too. That's just it everything was just OK. Nothing was great. So you are getting stunning five star views with 3.5 food, in my opinion. I would come back to give them another chance. The view is worth it alone. On the roof you will find Pier Teaki with comfortable seating, cocktails and a limited menu.

Location of this restaurant , as well as facility itself is absolutely incredible!!!Quality of food is decent. Service is friendly .It could have been a solid 4 star review ( in fact, maybe 5 because of the location and ambience of the facility ).Here is the reason for 2 stars:Bill included an automatic 20 percent service fee ( and tax , of course ).To request a tip on a top of that service fee feels like a rip off. I am surprised it seems like going practice in many places in Florida. Next time I don't tip in any restaurants, where automatic service fee is already included in the bill.

Aside from the view and building's unique architecture, I was a bit let down. The quality and taste of the food was not on par for the price of admission. Service was first rate, however.Truffle Asiago Focaccia Bread - It was a bit too truffle forward. Adding the seasonal butter helped, though.Fire Cracker Brussels - A bit oily with no discernible "fire".Linguine - Large portion but a bit bland.Personal Paella - Mostly flavored rice.

Lunch is a perfect time a teak. Great views of the pier and ocean and not too crowded. The Barbie absolutely a wonderful spot. Had the shrimp ceviche which was delicious and beautifully presented with sweet potato fries. Both wonderful.

Love this place!! I have been here twice, both with reservations.I have been lucky and been seated at the window both times, and the view is so wonderful at sunset (so highly recommend coming around that time!).Their sweet potato fries are DELICIOUS!! Some of the best I've ever had. Their desserts are also very yummy, I have had the creme brulee both times and its nice becuase they change the flavor seasonally. Overall, love this place and its a great "special" place to bring people from out-of-town to show them the pier and DTSP!

What a surprise. We were told the food was excellent. Unfortunately it was a bland as can be. The crab cakes were good . We shared a ceasar salad. The Mahi Mahi had no taste.. No salt No pepper NO Taste. The Steak was ordered medium and was rare. The Salmon also had no taste as bland as could be. they brought the steak without steak knives I ordered coffee never got it. Finally get fed up. They tack on 20% charge the three people. Sorry you'll never see us again.

This was my second time dining at Teak. We were quickly seated by a friendly host when we walked in. The views and subtle nautical decor cannot be beat. The staff really seem to have it together - multiple people aside from our server checked in on us throughout our dining experience and were all friendly. The food came out quickly and was all delicious. For an appetizer we had the popcorn coconut shrimp. I love my coconut shrimp and this is probably one of my favorites - it seems fresh, not frozen, paired with a nice pina colada dipping sauce. The seasoned popcorn and presentation make it stand out among others. For my meal I got another appetizer - the crab cakes, and a small teak house salad. The crab cakes were good, they had a nice fresh crisp to them - not soggy - and seemed fresh. I would've preferred the sauce on the side instead of underneath (how is one supposed to take leftovers home if it gets soggy?!). The salad was good, it was pre dressed but was not over saturated. The fruit and veggie combo paired well. I also had a taste of the calamari which was cooked correctly, not chewy thank goodness, and seemed freshly battered. Per the recommendation of the server, the Calabrian honey sauce was ordered on the side which was a good call because it was definitely spicy. I wasn't a fan of the garlic lemon aioli dipping sauce but the calamari paired well with another sauce they provided, I think it was the key lime remoulade, not sure. Overall Teak is a great spot and will remain in my restaurant rotation!
