We came in here while walking w/ out of town friends through the Sponge Docks. At first, we stopped at Hella's and the line was too long. We came up to Taste of Greece, & there was no line. Their desserts and drinks are identical as well as price.I even had my drink served in a Hella's Cup at Taste of Greece. Just no line which was great. We ordered a baklava tiramisu and a Greek Frappe. We liked our baklava tiramisu and my friend ordered a lemon cake. We liked the baklava tiramisu and they liked the lemon cake better. My Greek Frappe has the foam layer on it and I liked it better than my friends Greek Coffee which is served as a small cup of espresso with the grounds on the bottom. It was still just ok to me but I had never tried Greek Coffee before. The Ambiance was wide open and bright with tables inside, & outside. It was a nice visit with nice helpful people working there.

The desserts are incredible here! Beyond Greek pastries, they also have a variety of Italian pastries and sweets including an incredible tiramisu and a delicious, larger sized cannoli. Many other treats were showcased in the displays including a selection of cheesecakes, tarts, shortbread cookies, and more. When we stopped in on a Saturday, the shop was decently busy with about 6 or 7 different groups making selections. Two people were running things while a third handled a holiday display in the corner, but she popped in and out to assist as well as the line for the register grew. There wasn't anyone sitting down to eat their treats while we were there; it was all to-go orders at the time, but there are several booths and tables to sit at if you want to sit and savor your treat.

I always go here when I am in Tarpon Springs to get any treats I am in the mood for. Works out that Ben and I like the same things so we can share. Today he was on a mission for some baklava but of course when we got there, a ton of other options pulled us in. We asked the employee behind the counter what a few different things were and man she was such a good saleswoman, she kept talking us into more and more. It was pretty funny because it wasn't like she had to twist our arms or anything. We took the goodies to go but as soon as we got to the car we popped open that box and dug in. I wouldn't advise trying to drive and eat pretty much anything from here. From the toppings to the extra simple syrup dripping down, it is a messy treat. We each ate one item and took the rest home whuch held just fine for 2 days until we finished everything.

After a hot day walking round the sponge docks and enjoying the scenery, we stopped here for a classic Greek Frappe. The coffee was so refreshing, strong, and perfect on a hot day! We sat inside the nicely air conditioned interior and just relaxed as we were sooooo tired! The ladies behind the counter were so friendly, and nice, and were doing a great job serving everyone. It really did feel like a little Greek cafe, back in the old country, and although we did not buy any sweets, everything looked amazing!

After eating a delicious lunch at the Limani, we were craving a sweet delight to complete our afternoon meal. We couldn't help but notice the Taste of Greece just across the street, so we decided to stop in to see what they had to offer. Upon entering the store, the sweet smell of desserts and baked goods fill the air. We were blown away by the amount of beautiful, freshly made delicacies available, making it difficult to choose only one. We ordered the special lemon cake with cannoli filling. The cake was frosted with an airy whipped cream, topped with half of a miniature cannoli, and imbedded with mini chocolate chips ($6). We would usually enjoy a dessert like this with a hot cup of coffee; however, we had a full day in the sun, so that would have to wait for another time. The dessert was delicious and enough for the two of us to share. I would have loved to taste many more desserts here, but this belly can only handle so much! There is indoor and outdoor seating at the restaurant; I recommend sitting inside, so you can soak up the entire Greek experience! The bakery is beautifully decorated and maintained meticulously. The staff is friendly, patient, and helpful. In my opinion, the desserts are priced reasonably based on the value received. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping in to see the array of desserts and other goodies the Taste of Greece has to offer. You will not regret it.

We stumbled in here thinking this was Hella's Bakery. The display of dessert looked yummy enough and liked the decor inside. The ladies taking orders were slight Soup Nazi from Seinfeld but they were efficient. We ordered baklava tiramisu, Greek coffees and plain cheesecake. Tiramisu wasn't bad, the coffees were OK at first but it was served in tiny cups and half of it was sludgey coffee sediments. Is this how Greek coffees are supposed to be? And the cheesecake was just very bland and lackluster in texture. Wish we had gone to Hella's.

One look at the pastries and desserts on display and you will have to buy something! Everything looks DELICIOUS! It was hard to choose what to get, it all looks so very good. No prices are displayed, but I figured I will only live once and went for it! I got 4 Baklava ($3.75 each) 2 Saragli ($4 each) 1 Chocolate Pouraki ($5), 1 Chocolate Eclair ($5), 1 Cream Horn ($5) and 1 Tiramisu cup ($5). Total for this orgy of dessert delights was $45. But I enjoyed them later that evening and with coffee the next morning. Get yourself a box of pleasure soon!

I gained 5 pounds just walking in the door people! That display case is so overwhelming. I stood there for 30 minutes reading the item descriptions and drooling. I wanted to try everything! I always fall back on my usual though. One Tiramisu please! They boxed it up for traveling and also with a Deluxe Assortment for my Friend. Both held up great in the 3 hour drive home but the tiramisu didn't make it any further as I gobbled it straight down. So light and tasteful! The assortment was $15 and came with a piece of 5 or 6 different pastries, 11 total. Great Gift! If I lived closer I would find myself more informative on each pastry as I would of eaten them several times by now. So glad I only visit. Mmmmmm
